I spent some time fooling with the radio in my base coupe. I was unable to find any options that would allow for a decible adjustment.

I tried many things in an effort to get a hidden menu option to appear. I tried pushing and holding buttons for a few seconds. I also tried pushing multiple buttons at the same time.

I have come to the conclusion that this feature does not exist on my 2006 base coupe.

Maybe it was just wishful thinkin' on my part, but I thought I heard the difference in volume.

05 SRT roadster with no nav. Car has very noticilble speed sensitive volume adjustment. I can be at a stop light and set the volume to 20, speed up to about 75 on the highway, and just touch the know to bring up the volume and it is at 27. Don't know if it is toggleable or not.

I have the answer. I found out that the volume control is there but it's a manual operation. When the volume increases with the speed going up, and it's not to your liking, you reach over and turn the volume down a little (counter clockwise). On the other hand, if you slow down, and the volume is too low, you reach over and manually turn it up (clockwise). I've actually done this and it works.

JUST KIDDING !!

The speed to volume compensation is there but not adjustable and you can't disable it. (unless you have a big hammer)

I don't have a clue where I got the idea that there was an adjustment section. Must have been on another vehicle that I owned. SORRY GUY'S.
