Soapy water, detail polish and a microfiber cloth......endless possibilities.

The best method is to pull off the stock brake pads and replace them with Rotex Gold brand brake pads. They you won't need to clean your wheels every 5 miles!

Tried a Wheel Cleaner that ACTUALLY WORKS!-8164170.jpg Works great.
Better yet replace your pads with Rotex Golds www.brakeworld.com
No more brake dust and excellent stopping power.
Many have installed them here

I never changed to the Rotex Gold pads, but everyone seem to swear by them. So if you still have the stock pads like I did, you will have that dust problem forever!
Believe me, I tried almost all wheel cleaners in the market and found the best results from "Armor All Wheel Cleaner", but it must be the one in the
GRAY bottle, there are many Armor All wheel cleaners. This one in the gray bottle is not that easy to find, but I usually found it on line (Autozone) http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,.../selectZip.htm

I now have a MB SLK 350 and have the same dust problem. I think this time I will go for the Rotex Gold pads

I wax my wheels, then when they get dusty, I use some Meguiar's Quick Detailing Spray and a microfiber towel to clean them.

I use a brush similar to this one, which is designed for cleaning the wheel. it works pretty easy and does a very good job, I only use a garden hose and run water over the wheel slowly while brushing it.

RPM... great... i'm considering designing a tool to do something just like that... of course we are then treating the symtoms and not the cause... hummm there must be some attraction between the dust ..which won't just blow out to the street and the wheel... maybe it's weird science...hahaha Xie Xie (thank you) for your suggestion.

i know i will get flamed for this
try Windex
i have a neighbor who always has spankin clean wheels
and once i broke down and went and asked him
how are your wheels so clean
he wold me if i tell you you will laugh
he said i use windex
its alkaline
which is what they spray at car washes to clean wheels
i tried it and it worked well
just spray it on
leave it for like 30 seconds
and wash it off with water and a brush
