Maybe your question/comment is meant for the seller - not sure.
What you see in most of these posts is Version 1. I think Version 2 is a larger size.

I don't think there is a version two for the crossfire. Version two has the windscreen in front of the roll bar. Due to the curve behind our seats I don't think they ever designed a version two because of the cost.

Just got an email from the seller (KingPennSky?). There is no version 2. It is a mistake on their website.

RPM - That's what I thought. If you take a look behind your seats at the back panel it is curved to the contour of the seat back and it would be very costly trying to shape the windscreen to the curve and that is why it is not available in our crossfire.

Scott is yours a battery operated one or the one that ties into the lights?

Finally, my windscreen in on. Frank, thanks for all you help. I just took some pics to share with you guys. I have the white/clear lights and connected to my running lights, with a manual switch to turn off if I so choose to when to top is up.

FP - Looks great, the extra switch comes in handy the few times the top is up at night.

Godofwar - Mine is connected just like FP's, its wired into the running lights with an additional switch.

Looks great!...Now for the mechanically challenged...how difficult was it to have this installed...or did you do it yourself? What would the cost of the on/off switch be or can they add this when one orders? Have you tested it with your top down? How protected do your feel?

I have my roll bars covered right now with my windscreen...so I am curious is wind still blows in with just the center piece covered. I have my seat pushed up a bit, so the head rest does not cover the roll bar section.

I like the look, however! Nice touch!

I won't say it's difficult to do, but you do have to feel comfortable pulling wire to the trunk, and pulling out some fasteners to get to the back lights. I was lucky in that the guys installing my phatbox pulled the wiring for me while pulling the wiring for the phatbox, and I got some very helpful guidance from Frank to tap into for power. If your hubby is not comfortable with this type of work, I would just take it to a shop and have them do it for you. The switch is not a big deal to connect. It's only a few $$. I think you can order it with the screen, but for significant more money. You could buy one at Radio Shack, or Home Depot for $3 - $4. You might just want to have your shop do it.
As to the wind, I didn't have one like yours, so it's hard to do a comparison. It does help a bit with the wind coming from behind. I just took it for a nice ride with the top off. First time since last October. Nice, very nice.

Do you sell or recommend a cleaner to avoid any scratches when cleaning. Also is there a polish to remove any potential cleaning scratches?

Got mine and love it! The blue lights make that frigin thing shine. Already had a couple of people asking do they make them for other cars. By far the best investment I have made so far for my Xfire.

The weather is getting great. I hope everyone is enjoying cruising and showing off this great automobile. If only the masses knew. I guess that would make us less rare. It's funny, from what I have observed and read, the 2006 is finally becoming popular and better recognized. Too little too late Diamler Chrysler !!! We are indeed a gem.
ENJOY !!!

I will answer my own question;

Use the Novus1, and Novus2 cleaner and polisher for the windscreen. These products work well with polycarbonate which is what these screens are made from.
