For those of you who do not need to leave early on Friday, July 11th, the Town of Rifle would like to have us park our cars in the morning on their main street for a photo opportunity.

I missed it last time. But not this time.

 

Wish I could come, but 1,600 miles is just too far for me.
I spent a year in Denver back in '67, had a 1.6 liter Opel Rallye Sport at the time.
It got somewhat short winded in the mountains ....

We put 2,400 on the clock with CAA#4.. and worth every mile

Franc, will you be bringing both cars or just one? And yes, I cannot wait for next July. I get CEW (Crossfire Event Withdrawal) quite often.

It is a long way off but we will be keeping it in mind. We had a great time at #2 when we were there and I would suspect it to be another one. Last time we headed NW after the event, maybe this time head SW. Round trip for us was just over 5000 miles and worth it.

I cannot say. We may have only one Crossfire by next year. And I truly cannot decide which we wil keep.
