You posted in the right place, but you are staying in the wrong place.
YOU are going to be driving some LONG days. I know the lodge is not the best, but to be part of social gathering, you really want to be on site in the evenings; you can't make the social connections if you are not there. And you will be with us only ONE day - is it really worth it to drive so far for ONE day? I mean, you are welcome but you can't get out of this meet what we intend if you are not going to be with us cept for the drive on Saturday.

This is as much a SOCIAL event as a DRIVING event - MOST of us go back more for the friends and people than the roads.

And dno't forget, we leave by 9am for all the major runs.

One last thought: I"m 62 and I generally DO NOT drive far after dark on THOSE roads. Too many wild animals, fallen trees, etc.

 

Jodi Oldes has a room inside the lodge that she doesn't need. It's a two queen or full bed room though. Message me if you are interested in it and she will call and switch it to you.

Have been trying to locate Motorola T100. This is a discontinued radio and I have called numerous outlets here in Canada and in the USA . If one is found it will be old stock. The one person I have contacted is suggesting the Motorola T200 that is now a rechargeable radio and also takes batteries. He suggest that the T200 has more features and is rechargeable and would work with the old T100. What is your opinion or suggestion on the T200 since the T100 is discontinued.

If you can't get T100s anymore, go with the T200 or T402. The 402 is more of a radio, tho. See me at the event for programming, but please do so the evening you arrive, NOT just as we are lining up to leave on runs, that delays everyone.

Programming of them is the same, not as easy as the T100, I hate that they discontinued the only radio I like. But, it's Motorola, and they can't get anything right for more than a season or so - I compete with them at work and they DO make it easy. (Unfortunately, we at Kenwood/EF Johnson don't make FRS radios.)

 

I received the attendance sheet for the fall dragon, we are listed by my forum name as car 1 and car 2. I thought I sent you our first names so they could be included on the list, sorry about that. Gregg and Karen 2 cars. A 2005 SRT6 roadster and a 2008 NA roadster. We are the only ones listed without a name attached. Thanks and have a great day!

Bruce, There are several other Crossfire owners in the area, and we have been trying to get ourselves organized for this and local events. We do have a Gulf Cost Crossfire Enthusiasts group on FB, but if you do not have that, feel free to message me, and I will make sure to let you know when we get together.

I am new and hope to be there. I have an 04 and should be there Sat morning. I don't live very far so that is a good thing. I get to go home each night if I am able to come back on Sunday for that part of the run. I live in Piney Flats, TN.
