You will be missed George. Shanking your hand is always good.

Nice looking ride, Bob! Drive Safe.

Hate Roberta & I are going to miss this event. Have to leave on a business trip Sunday & it didn't make any sense to commit to this event. Everyone drive safe & enjoy the TN/NC mountains. Hope the fall colors are good. It's been so hot in this area that leaves are predicted to turn color quickly.

I have a room avail. at the Fontana lodge.
Even though they have a waiting list, they will not cancel my reservation (deposit) without a name of a new member.
If you are on that waiting list and want to attend the event, Please contact me as soon as possible. The room is a 2 bedroom cabin.
I will wait till tomorrow morning to cancel. I have the room Thurs.-Monday.

I wasn't sure who it was. I tried reaching you by radio but you must have turned yours off . Traffic was rough but I got back on the road and was tailing an SRT8 Durango with a license plate that said "WLD WMAN"... We made up some time to say the least lol.

DRAGON UPDATE:
Well, most of us are home now, many back to "real life". In a few days, a final update will be posted, as we must tell the world about the highlights of the trip:
1) Who met nice law enforcement officers, and how many of them got tickets. (And how many tickets per person. )
2) Winners of the drawing and raffle prizes, and just what each person won.
3) We raised some money for the Blount County Rescue Squad (without even TRYING!) - details about THAT to follow.

I can't get a Dragon update right on the first post. I really must give thanks:
Ella Whelchel for loaning me $10 so I could eat Saturday night (that I have not paid her back for).
Eric Hyden for having the sense to have five spare fuses for our radios.
Crystal Mathernel, Robert McCubbin (who else helped? Rob B held the flashlight and made smart remarks - who else was there?) that worked to get my trunk light out and then did the electric lock mod when I was locked out of my trunk.
James Lee Smith for the Captain Morgan.
Peter Turner for the Six Speed Pen.
Jeff Kielmeyer for loaning me a car to drive for the week.
