and i live in Fl 6 to 7 months and Georgia 4 to 6 months I guess we are considered duel stateship LOL it doesn't mater where you come from as long as you injoy the company of all the others at the dragon.

 

Change of plans for dinner Saturday, everyone. It is no longer "dinner on your own". This is something that we've been working on for a few weeks as an alternative to the $30 a plate catered dinner that so many disliked.

We have not done this since 2010, so, back by popular demand.......................

 

We are planning a cookout for all Crossfire people on Saturday The 5th in the Chestnut room. With burgers, hot dogs, etc… To cover cost incurred by other members there will be a charge of $10.00 per person. Your planning committee has also obtained several great items that will be raffled off that night. We will be selling tickets at the door for the raffles. This promises to be an enjoyable evening with great food, conversations, fellow enthusiasts, and some pretty awesome prizes!


If you would like to volunteer to assist with setup, cooking, clean up and such please post here and we will add your name to our list.

Well not much longer , this weekend going through he Crossfire checking every thing out thoroughly , decided I did not like the way my back tires look , so new ones order should be here thru. or Fri. , with ten days it good time to make sure that you going to have confidence in your car to make the trip and drive it way you like to drive it , so make those pre-trips inspections , so you can have great weekend ,

 

One week from tomorrow morning, I head for the airport to make my way to the Dragon. I'll be in the area early to visit family and friends and get some things in order.

Weather forecast is looking very nice for our weekend. Rain is moving through early in the week with nothing but sunshine for when we are scheduled to be there.

Ok, this should be my last update. I am SO looking forward to seeing all of you next week. Attached are some resources for you; if you have never gone to the Dragon please read this stuff over. If you HAVE been there, skim the "Attendee Package" at least enough to read about Saturday evening.

I'm going to work Monday to 'fake it' and then head for the airport on Tuesday. Thanks once again to Jeff K in Greer, NC for the loan of a wonderful SRT Roadster.
