Course, anyone in a Roadster, once we get to elevation on the SKyway, better have a light jacket on or the top-down driving is gonna be a bit nippy.

Great idea. Do you think I should call to confirm that with the resort or just "ask for forgiveness later"? I have to call them today anyway.

I have NEVER seen anyone around the pool in the eight years I've been going. The pool is useless in April and October.

Do you know if the pool is "closed" or actually open but not used? I just want to make sure I have everything planned out. If we can all just hang out around the pool, then there will be seating (and tables??). If not, then the question becomes, does everyone just stand around? WHICH would be fine, but I would think that would make people not want to stay as long. If there are places to sit, then people might be more likely to stay and chat.
Also, would you expect people to get cold (being outside) and therefore not stay as long?
Sorry for all of the questions.

There is not much seating around the pool, but there are some just under the back deck. There is also a large sitting room under the main lobby that is never used. We used it as a meeting room a few times for the drivers meeting and also memorial service for BigKid several years ago. You have full access to the pool area and "Cabana" room that are around the pool from here. This should work for you as long as we clean up after ourselves.
