I really want to do this. Just too early to commit. Seems like something always comes up and I cant get away, but not in 2017. I am headed to FL in a week to take some time off. 'This year I am going to take the time to do things. I had a supervisor try to cut my throat about a month back. Thankfully he was put in his place by his supervisor. Things have changed. I feel more appreciated. And my contract I have kind of helped. He didn't know what was in the contract. Pays to get things in writing. So, I am now going to take the time off that was built into that contract. Something I had not done before. His supervisor stated in our little get to together I had paid my dues and then some. Have some fun this year. I am going to take him up on it.

I haven't had time to read every post, but I did put our name on the list, and made a hotel reservation. Do you need any money from us in advance?
If any of you are into road racing, I'll be racing my SRT6 race car at Hallett Motor Sports Park, in Tulsa on Friday and Saturday, June 23rd. and 24th., just before CAA#8 starts. I promise to make our favorite cars look good on the track:-)) I will most likely have in with me in Eureka Springs, since there isn't time to take the race car home and drive back.
Thanks,
Robert Andrew

Planning road trip up I came across this - https://issuu.com/arkansas/docs/2017...rcycling_guide
perhaps some runs here that would work for group. If anyone has taken any of the scenic byways in AL (ie Talladega Scenic Dr) or TN that might be on route from FL then I'd appreciate the first hand knowledge if worth getting off path to hit them too.

I can sure tell you about the Talladega one, I live there.
It is not very long, maybe 30 miles end to end, some good twisties and road condition is good to excellent. The HIGH light is Mt Cheaha, highest point in Alabama. I live 12 miles from there.
You would be welcome to come by on your way, we could convoy up along with some others from Georgia and the Carolinas - plan right now is to meet up with them somewhere around Memphis.

George. I'm tentative making plans to attend the CAA8 in June. It's a long drive, but I think I can do it...What do you think....Carl
Re: CAA#8 (Crossfires Across America #8) Eureka Springs, Arkansas - June 25-30 2017
I KNOW you can do it !
1,071 miles for you, we could meet up on I-20 in Anniston ( 452 miles, almost 1/2 way ) and convoy the rest of the way.
( however, I already have agreed to room with Randy from Brunswick, GA, he too is meeting me here for the drive to ES )
We plan on stopping overnight (Saturday) somewhere around Memphis.
( On long trips like this in a car with no spare, there is safety in numbers )
