Be sure to have a set of FRS RADIOS to be able to communicate within the groups on the daily runs

They are inexpensive and available in many stores
Here is an example of a set of FRS Radios

DAMMIT, Jim. I am leaving ATL on Thursday about 1pm. You gonna be a day late for that.
But, here is my suggestion: When you get to ATL, take 75 to 285 to GA400 and head north on 400. Let the GPS take it from there, it will take you up 400 to it's end and then you are on GA60 and then US129. YOu take US129 over Blood Mountain and up thru Blairsville, then Murphy, NC then on to Robbinsville. From there the GPS will take you to the lodge either via Deal's gap then to the lodge from the west on Hellbender or over toward the dam and into the lodge from the east on Hellbender.
Just my two cents. Wish you'd be coming thru on THursday, tho.

DRAGON QUESTION: Can I get an RSVP from those planning to meet me Thursday at noon on GA400/Exit 14 for our departure to the Dragon? I know deerhunter is going, who else should I expect? I do not want to leave anyone behind.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
This is a place that might be of interest to some for a day trip.
This weekend looks pretty busy, but maybe another time/visit/year

My mom was a Salt and Pepper shaker collector - she'd really enjoy that museum.
I'm toying around with altering my SKyway run (if, indeed, that is the one I lead) by skipping the waterfall and trekking on to "The Lost Sea" -this will make our run about 1 1/2 to 2 hours longer, but I think many would really enjoy it.

I think Saturday. But it COULD turn into Sunday - plans are still being discussed and fact is, I've got to poll the attendees to see how many have seen the waterfall 2 or 3 times (I've been there about 9-10 times).
First timers would enjoy either option... so I'm thinking I can just say I'm doing it Saturday. I THINK we will have more than one SKyway/Dragon Saturday run, given the number of attendees. And I wanted to do my shortened "Devil's Triangle" run on Sunday.
LIke I said, still thinking about it.

At this point, I believe my SATURDAY run will be as Gary described above, but we will SKIP the falls and visit "The Lost Sea".
My Sunday run is likely going to be a "Devil's Triangle" run using a little known scenic and kinda slow, relaxed route featuring the Dragon on the way out and again on the way back to the lodge (for those not breaking away part way in the run and heading home..)
