Cincinnati / Northern KY
Hey guys,
Time is running out for this year's driving season! I am free Saturday Oct 25 if anyone would want to get together, weather permitting. We can meet for an early lunch and make a run to Rabbit Hash and where ever the road takes us. Post your ideas here. I will PM as many locals as I know.

Hey James....I will look, but I think there is an SCCA instructional course being taught at the new Bowling Green track around that weekend. IN fact, I know it that weekend. I though about it, but with my schedule, I hated to pay then not have the time to make the trip. As it turns out, my work is caught up right now and I may have time. I could ask if spectators are allowed. Could be a fun thing to do. It is too late to sign up for the course, but watching might be fun.
It looks awesome, they even mimicked the legendary sha cane from laguna seca.
Would be AWESOME to run on it

Is that across the river from Rising Sun IN? Use to be a ferry crossing at Aurora IN, but I don't think it is there anymore. I will see if the weather is good, as we have been wanting to go to Madison IN for some time now. They have a new bridge there I need to check out. So we might be able to make it. If we do, we will let you all know.
Re: Cincinnati / Northern KY
The Ferry was short lived in Aurora. I think it was too close to the Interstate that crossed the river just a few miles East. They used the same Ferry boats from Anderson Ferry in Cincinnati.
I saw the bridge in Madison several times during the renewal procedure. First they built new supports under the old bridge. Then built the new bridge next to the old one on temporary supports. Then dropped the old bridge in the water and dismantled it. Then slid the new bridge in place on the new supports.

Got a text from our SCCA guy that Bowling Green still has available spots open for instruction that weekend. Need to make up my mind....lol They do allow spectators. I know you guys aren't interested, but Grip, or 32Krazy, or anyone else close might be. I will let you know James....

I'd be very concerned about some of those "sudden elevation" changes that may occur anywhere near the Vette museum.............I'm just sayin........
At least gm took all the cars to there personal shop to restore to original condition with all original parts.
