Just thinking, this time next Thursday I will be on my way to Fontana!

 

I know i already have all my cleaming stuff ready for the preparation. I leave at 5am on Friday morning should be there lunchtime.

 

I have been working on that as well as last minute fluid level checks, and any maintenance needed beforehand. I'll have to get it in for an alignment this weekend...

 

Still hoping I can get away. This sounds like a really good weekend not to be missed.


I am working this Saturday 3/28 trying to make a hole in the schedule to allow me to leave Friday afternoon. Be there in the morning for Saturday Breakfast and fun.

 

I have four new tires, alignment, brake bleed/flush and new windshield all in. Bumper to bumper detail planned for this weekend.
With that, I think I'm good to go.

This will be a smaller meet and I'm cool with that. Even the Gens have a small bunch coming - with Easter that weekend (and so many Harley riding grandparents staying home) the roads should be kinda open for us!

And remember, Jonathan will be holding an Easter service in the Chapel from 8:00 to 8:30 on Sunday.

I wish I could make it. I seen pictures from years before when you all went. Looks like fun. Just bought my srt6 coupe this passed Wednesday. Not much time to plan maybe next time. Do you all go in the fall?

I agree with Andy on this one it's a great time for all who attend.

 

I have to work Friday and Saturday. I live in Ohio it's 450 miles oneway to NC. My car has it's original Michlen tires on it which I'll be replacing before hand the back ones manly 23,000 miles on them.

 

I get thru your town from time to time...I will look for that car..... If a big black 18 wheeler gets up close and persoanal....it might just be me....lol

 

If those are really original, get rid of them.
If not, the DRagon is a great place to take off that excess tire tread that we all find so irritating.


Sorry you are gonna miss a great Easter weekend - we even have a short church service, so there is no reason to stay away. Work takes life - vacations give life.

No, your first statement is the correct statement. If those tires are original they are too old to trust on the road. The rubber has lost all of it's grip, even if you never plan to push it they're dangerous.
