Ok , this going to hurt, Mark please take Ray & Susan off the list for the Spring Dragon , Do to a few thing out of are control , we will half to pass on Spring Dragon this year, Susan mother broke her hip back in Nov. and had two hip replacement and still in the Hospital at 86 this is not good thing , and it make hard to make any kind of plans at this point . We are hoping that we can make in the fall , for rest of you have great time and kill the Dragon once for us, Ray

I see that only ten rooms have been reserved and paid for as of today (I got the list from Marie Rodgers just now).
If you plan on going, know that the deadline for a discounted room was Feb 6 - sorry, but I have been working WAY too many hours to keep up with warning you all that, if you want a room at a discounted rate, you must do your part and reserve one early.
I spoke to Marie and she said that if you call in the next week or so, there should be no problem with getting the room at $85 a night. If you encounter trouble, ask to be transferred to Marie Rodgers, but know that she is often not available and will call you back.
Also, know that the Gencoupes, the VWr32s and the Sierra Club will be grabbing rooms as well - there is no assurance, even if we have a small group, that there will be last-minute rooms available. In fact, SELDOM are rooms available at the last minute, even at $129 a night.

Cathy and I are unfortunately in the maybe category.
Rooms at the lodge will not be required as we have local friends who offered lodging.
But our Daughter-in-Law was just hospitalized with a stroke. Not sure what our plans are for Easter.

The D-I-L is not improving. We are set for the week of Easter in Connecticut if not longer.
I hate missing the Spring event. The winter weather may have the mountain roads closed but the lodge is a beautiful place to view snow and chat with good friends.

List updated - make sure you call for a room TODAY if you plan to go, the cutoff for a discount was weeks ago, but talk to Marie Rogers if needed and maybe she can get you our $85 rate. Mention the "Crossfires". Two other car groups will be there and the Sierra club, so, I'd say, rooms will run out soon if not already.
