Yes the local paper in Rifle Colorado did a small story about the Crossfires coming to town last year at CAA5 and even set up a location in town for us to park on Friday morning for the locals to come out and see all the Crossfires.

 

I emailed the editor of "a" paper there.. no response.. LOL.

I went on the website but couldn’t find anything about the CCA event in Eureka Springs. Is that information somewhere else? Are you having the usual parade through town that other car clubs have?

Also, we’ll get some Fun Guides out to you for your registration - where is it being held? The fun guide has a map and all the stuff going on in town during the week you’re here. Will there be a car show or contest of any kind?

We booked the train lunch today. The lady said the whole train was taken by the Crossfire group.

 

They do run the other days we are there.. so if we fill this puppy up I'm sure others would be game for a Monday Tuesday or Thursday ride - luncheon if someone wants to kick it off.

 

This alone should make the local newspaper !!
I wonder how often the 72 seat lunch train is full in the small town ?

 

I am REALLY not sure the train is FULL. They had 30 seats left when I called.
I THINK what she means is, the train is RESERVED only for US. Did we really fill 30 seats in the last 48 hours?

 

I would also like a hat added to my total if any are left, many thanks!

 

Just called they are full (1 spot left) My wife and I can't get in.

 

the train seats 75 they are full 1 seat left,Larry i asked if to more could get on, they said would have to seat in floor, ask if could bring a chair she laughed and saiad no way.


Larry you mAy call back and get on standby, with 75 seats it possible someone will not show up

I am pulling together a spreadsheet with all the names car types colors states etc. if you can check your details on the names list and please let Greg know if any details are missing so that i can get an accurate list of names and types of cars etc..

 

The right seat is there just for the pretty cup holder. Which would have been a problem because neither PIZZA or Me is what you would call purty. I'm glad to see PIZZA has his own 'cause I am going to the event to drive, not hold his beer.





And Yes Mark, I would have let you drive my car.
