Crossfires Across America #6 - Ozark Mountain Region - June 15-18, 2015
Re: Crossfires Across America #6 - Ozark Mountain Region - June 15-18, 2015
Posted this up on facebook but since not everybody is there..
After our experience in Colorado and running that station out of fuel - I've contacted the Exxon station and notified them of our coming. There are a couple small stations by us but I don't see lining up on the streets waiting for your turn.. LOL. And if your like me "Mom and Pops 66" doesn't give you a warm fuzzy feeling when filling up. If possible.. fill up Sunday when you come in to town so your fueled and ready to go Monday morning.

Well . . . I was planning for another driving trip on Wednesday but since this train lunch has become so popular and because they're now making it an exclusive Crossfire Group trip, I just booked four more reservations for Cindy and I along with my brother Jim and his wife Kathleen. Sounds like good fun!

Le'ts fill that train!!!!!!!!!!
I see that I know most of those attending, but a few I have not met and a few I have not seen since maybe 2010 or so.
Finally, what with being in the office this week and not traveling, I am getting excited to get on the road.
The cars are what brought me to the group in the first place, it's the people that keep me coming back.

We can use it for group photos etc.
This banner dates back to the days before CICCI when all we had was XFI

John, More books would be awesome. I love filling my library.
But more importantly, I look forward to seeing you again.
I have a cap with your name on it.
See you at the CAA

Thursday is the last official full day at CAA6 with runs /activities planned.
Most everyone will be leaving on Friday as we all did at CAA5 in Colorado.
A photo shoot is a must at some point when we are all together

My suggestion would be to do a group photo on Wednesday. Some folks will be leaving on Thursday for return trips, including us. That pretty much ensures all get to participate. But if we miss getting in on the group photo, so be it.
Looking forward to this GTG.
