Franc's OFF ROAD ADVENTURE needs names




I plan to run it three days, Monday Tuesday Wednesday and would like to even out the group size.


Monday may not have the Mount Judea restaurant stop at the Eagle Rock Café
Leave 9:00 AM and run south on 23 towards Clarksville AR, then east to 123 where we go north to Mount Judea.


Lunch,,, Eagle Rock Café.


It's nothing special, local diner but, the menu is based on offering sugar free entree's


Then head home via 65 and 62


I may alter the route Monday to have lunch at another place.


Five hours with at least one gas top . Mount Judea has only 87 Octane.


I will start a separate thread for this next week and include more specifics.

I guess we can firm up our attendance now that we are moved and settled in the new diggs. Also count us in for the BBQ and Franc's run.

Blocking 31 rooms seems kinda inadequate now, doesn't it?

 

I reserved my room last year in anticipation of going but was not sure we would attend. Have had too many personal things to deal with.

 

LOL.. yeah it does.. but they have yet to contact us with a "filled up" notice as they said they would.. and we've contacted them a couple times to be sure along the way.

 

greg if you want a better count of attendees just call the hotel for a count of crossfire reservations........

 

We will need to do that just before.. they need a good headcount for the BBQ.

 

Do the folks who invited your little Crossfire group to join their bar-be-que have ANY idea how many people you are bringing? Are we just going to show up and surprise them??

LOL.. yeah they have an Idea.. talked with them this week and gave them a count as of now. They did throw a ringer at us though. Seems that bike night has been moved to Saturdays.. But are now looking into the Pigs Trail store in Eureka to accommodate us. Basically gave us a "don't worry.. we got you covered" assurance anyways.

 

Better have them reserve the entire parking lot for us !

New to this group. I am going to be at your meet in Ark...Does anybody have a scedule of activities and do we need to sign up for them. Any info on this meet would be very helpfull. Thanks already told Mrmiata to sighn us up.

There is a BBQ on Wednesday and a bunch of people are going to foolishly follow me down to Mount Judea AR for coffee and pie.
My off road adventures never seem to go according to plan but, folks seem to have a good time. You are welcome to join us.

How did I end up in the lead in North Carolina that one friday?
On an un-related note, I thought things went well once I got up front.

(It was the first time "I'm going with Franc" did NOT mean asking yourself, "How the hell did he just leave us behind like that in these curves?")

 

Okay was just informed our host hotel has 1 Jacuzzi room left.. I'm thinking the Travel Lodge which is basically a stone's throw away would make for a decent "overflow" hotel. Close enough to join us at the host hotel in the evenings for socializing.. and meeting up in the mornings for route grouping for the days run's.
