To the other oyster gold crossfire owners, my wife and I will be at caa#6. You may notice the Yoga Guy handle is new, but I'm not entirely new to the group. I have a VERY CLOSE relationship with GoGirl, since we were at Tail of the Dragon this last fall in her Aero Blue roadster. I've been wanting her to save her "crossie" for our retirement years, but she wants to use it for her daily driver and told me to get my own, so I did. I bought it in Mesa AZ in October and drove it back to our home outside Wichita. The Tail of the Dragon was so much fun I had to have my own "crossie". With 25K miles on mine I'll keep it garaged and pristine as possible. We'll be arriving on Sunday in Eureka Springs.

I didn't confirm to Mr. Miata, that Brenda and I love bar-b-que, so count us in for dinner. We're from the Kansas City area, and we never miss a chance to eat some good bar-b-que. I generally just try not to miss a meal

Wife & I are both originally from KCMO (north of river). And being from there, lovers of BBQ kinda comes naturally!

Put us down for 2.

Is it June yet? Ready for running the hills in AR.

See you there, Anna

Just looked over the attendees list for CAA #6. So far, looks like we're the only Machine Gray Clear Coat Crossfire signed up to attend this year's event in the Ozarks. Too bad only one Crossire with the best color is planning to attend ! IMHO

Later,

Best color is a matter of opinion.
All Crossfire's look good in any color.
But I believe there are 3 Oyster Gold's attending and that is the best color.
One of them will be my roadster.

Yes, I really like the oyster gold, that's why I searched for one and I bought it. But I always liked the black, thought the alabaster white was special, the red was really hot and that machine gray is dynamic; My wife's aero blue looks fantastic! I will also admit that I think the roadster appeals to my eye more than the coupe.
But what is really special is not necessarily the color, but having more than one!

I do like my Alabaster coupe.. the lines flow great..

And the having Identical twin Aero Blue / Vanilla interior roadsters .. 1 year model difference the only real difference..

Not 100% thrilled with the lines when the tops are up.. but LOVE the look with the tops down.. just a guy thing I guess.. LOL.

If I had the garage.. 1 of every color wouldn't hurt my feelings too much..

Actuallly I think the roadster looks good with the top up, especially when compared to some others models (e.g., Nissan 350Z/370Z roadster, which looks absolutely terrible with the top up).

I love to show it with the top up, but the drive with the top down can't be beat.

And, it is "never" to early to pack for a trip in our "crossies".........actually, think I'll
pack a bag now and just keep it in the car!!! Girl/Boy Scout motto - always be ready.
