Booked rooms in eureka springs, Sun - Fri. Planning to stop at Brandson Mo on the way to and from CAA#6

 

Just booked my room. Talked with Paula and she said they only have 5 rooms left with queen beds. All kings are gone. I wanted a king bed so she gave me a suite. She said rooms are much larger and have a whirlpool tub. The cost was discounted to $99.00.

Contacted the hotel this evening - 35 of 65 total rooms are now reserved. They will contact us "if" we end up booking out the Hotel and should we do this - we'll scrounge out an alternate nearby location and work up some kind of plans.

 

OK Greg you can put me and maybe my wife on the list as going to the GTG and the BBQ. For a head count for the BBQ its still up in the air if the wife can get off for the trip so I won't know for a few weeks. I'm going to make my reservations today or tomorrow at the hotel but before I do I would like to know how many people are going to be showing up on Saturday 6/13. Sounds like a great time, for me its like family reunion!

It looks as if several people may be coming out on Saturday to Branson one hour away
I'm sure that if you come out on Saturday you will be able to join me and several others in Branson and stay overnight in Branson before going to our host hotel on Sunday
Check with Erzer to see where they might be staying overnight in Branson on Saturday
This is going to be another great time

We are only about 3 hours away.. but may not be able to stand it and have to go on Saturday for an early get away.. LOL.

 

I thought about it and went ahead and changed my reservation to arrive Saturday also.
I'll probably need the extra time to rest up from the long drive.

I am going as well now. What is happening in Branson on Saturday? is it just a family thing for you? i was going to leave Saturday morning and stay somewhere just beyond Nashville and arrive Sunday late afternoon. But if others are arriving Saturday i may change.

It looks as if a few from St.Louis and likely others are heading for Branson to spend some time there before heading to Eureka Springs on Sunday where our host hotel is
Branson is one hour away and is a touristy town with many attractions and shows etc
I'm hoping if Branson becomes a Saturday first stop for many of us that we all might stay at the same hotel for one night
I have not researched Branson Hotels but it would be nice if we all stayed together

Keep me in the loop.. wife's eyes lit up on extra day in Branson.. LOL.. Looks like we'll check into host hotel and travel that hour in. Beats unpacking twice in my books..

OK I'm good to go reservations made arriving 6/14 Sunday and departing on 6/19 Friday. Probably staying in Branson on 6/13 Saturday night.

 

Karla and Gene are planning to leave Saint Cloud on Sat and be in Branson for a show on Sat night. Annette was also planning to stop in Branson. Let us know who finds a hotel, we have not looked yet, we are busy planning 3 weeks in Australia and New Zealand the first 3 weeks of April.
