If it makes you feel better.. rain and storms here.. means packed wheel wells with mud from the driveway and slung on the car. Planning on doing a "quickie" on the way. Knowing the forecast I just didn't see much sense in a spit shine over the weekend.

 

I saw the weather as well. I read it as afternoon Thunderstorms, which is common for us in the spring.

 

Sunny and about 70 here, but rain moving in fri . I;m just going to rub her down today and check the oil, hay John will try to give you a call tonight sometime and see what you got going fri ,

OK car detailed, clay bar, and wax, tires shined, tank full, ready to rock and roll on Thursday morning. I havent heard much from Shaun on the forum, perhaps he is saving all he words for the lodge evenings. I hope he is as much fun as he was in the fall, perhaps the alcohol had something to do with it. Cant wait to see everyone again and the new folks as well. Safe driving everyone.

Hey if the price was right.. LOL. That Black roadster they had on Auction.. guy picked it up for 8500 bucks (was my max).. 52k on the clock.. had been in a wreck and bubas dent and bait shop fixed it.. he's asking 14k for it.. been on craigs list for a while now.. "Pristine and babied all it's life"... LOL.

Yep, I take off from Denver at 6:30AM on Thursday morning, fly to Charlotte, and land in Knoxville around 2PM. I hope to be at the lodge by 4PM or so.

 

Pending traffic I think we will leave Lebanon around 1:00 Central time and should be in Fontana at 5 or 5:30 eastern time.

 

I'm very much ready for this weekend.

 

I shall be there ready to go haha I'm excited and ready for a good time with friends!!

 

Still some patches of snow up on the top of the Skyway, but it was melting off. I wouldn't expect any left after tomorrow. Road is in good condition, just some white residue/stains from earlier salting.
