7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
Yea, I bet you don't remember that night at all.
You'd been drinking since we got back from our run and dinner.
You probably dont even remember how the little guy from the UFO came into our room that night and gave me the secret to women, either.
(I may have been drinking too...)

Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
Good Morning everyone,
I am less than 5 days away from departing for the Tennessee/North Carolina mountains and, even with the news of our dear friend Jim departing our world, I am still excited to see everyone. It's been a long time since I've gone to this event for the roads. Hell I don't even own a Crossfire anymore. I come to see the friends I have made over the pass years. I'm sad to admit that I see some of you more times a year than I see my own family. Silly huh?
I think if we had a slogan for our gathering at the Dragon it would be.
"Come for the roads. Come back for the people."
See you all in a few days,
Nick

Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
To be honest.. Yeah I'm looking forward to driving the Dragon. But it's not like we don't have a few miles of tight curves and fun roads around here. Pretty much looked at the Dragon as "too far for a road-drive". Well after getting on board with CAA#4, and the great time we had with the members - This trip was put on the list of things to do. We're looking forward to the "road trip adventure"... but getting to meet up with the people here, that otherwise would never cross my path in life, is the primary reason.

Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
The weather is looking pretty good so far, do we know who is arriving on Thursday? i should be there early afternoon. The excitement is growing every day.
Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
I will be there, Mr Miata and his wife are meeting up with me in Lebanon Tennessee so they'll be there, Shawn, Mark, and Max should also be there.
Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
Last I spoke with Max ( about a week ago ), he wasn't coming. Did he change his mind ?
Re: 7TH Annual Spring "Tail of the Dragon" GTG April 2014
I still want to go with you on the run Friday nick, But I'm gonna try to get up early and run the Dragon first. That way, I SHOULD be able to get in a good pass or two before all the weekenders show up.
And I just deleted pjm30144 as he sold his car and was going to ride up with me, but has to be home as the buyers fly in Friday.
