Just start with the "A's " and work you way through..

Nothing like a long term project!

Ah so you've smelled my unburnt fuel the entire time LOL. Better than riding behind the SRT's though. Those things spit out so much sulfur my eyes want to bleed at the end of the day.

I agree, stinkty exhaust. But I usually do not have to spend much time behind those slower crossies.

Well, mine is still under the cover, it was 70 yesterday so I had high hopes, but now it is snowing... again

The SLK is looking good, Nick. Here are a few of photos from various Dragon events we have attended...

First Dragon, desperately trying to keep up with Doc...

Molly and I at the Dam...

A quick hike through the woods to see the creek...

Entire group...

New car after the hike through the woods to the creek...

Bald River Falls...

I remember this day. This was the epic run Jim and I had on the Skyway.

Indeed, we did our best to keep up through most of the day, but the skyway was too much for me, once we get into serious triple digit territory, I get worried on public roads. Especially after having a few dogs jump out in front of John M and I in a morning fog, scary stuff at 60-70, but at 120+, no way you are stopping...

This year I am debating on which routes to join. I have done them all and while I really like the aggressive group, it is those straights with insane speeds that make me reconsider. Let me know how you plan to run this year, if we run hot in the turns and don't push too hard on the straights, I will gladly join your convoy, if you don't mind If you plan on going 110% I may start my own route (just a few miles behind yours LOL)

Sadly or thankfully I rarely hit triple digits anymore. I'd love to, but there is just too much going on and I don't trust the Mercedes like I did my crossfire.

We had perfect conditions to have an epic run on the skyway last fall. I may have tagged 140 on the long stretch at the peak of the mountain, but then quickly coasted back to 90 and never got close to 5th again. Too risky in a car that I swear is waiting for me to make a little mistake.

Epic indeed and probably one of a kind. I burned 1/2 tank of gas on that run. That kind of run is never planned, they just happen. I don't think that type of run will happen again on the Skyway, too much traffic now, but you never know. John makes good points about the straight away speeds and any one running in the group should always have the option to back off if they feel the need. Nick will eventually stop and wait till we all regroup.

New treads on the front Saturday 14 months and the inside edge pretty much gone.. Looks like it's camber bolt time when we get back.. cause I know they aren't going to have them on the shelf to fix first.. lol. Figure new Gmax for the rear when we get back too.

I was running 285/35r15's before with plenty of room. But g-max only goes up to 275. 275 fit on our factory rims with no problem a 35 is .7 inches taller then factory 255's
