And yes, that is the correct address for Steak and Shake. It is about 1.5 miles from Homewood Suites.

Almost always last but not least. I booked my hotel a week ago finally knowing if I could take off work. That being said I will be leaving work after a 12hr~ shift sunday morning and "flying" out there, getting in late as it is a 16hr~ drive. For the Name tag: Screen name: ASQRD Name: Anton Car color: SSB but dipped matte black/green (you choose!) Hometown: Loves Park, IL. See ya'll sunday night if you're awake or bright and early monday morning.

Anton my friend
Please be very careful after a 12 hour shift making a 16 Hour Drive
That sounds pretty risky
I'm glad you are coming but please be careful we just want you to make it

Leaving home at 8am tomorrow morning (4Th of July)
Crossfirefrank and wife Sue left Michigan and came to my house today
They are sleeping here tonight and in the morning Annette (2005XFire) will come to the house and the 3 of us will leave.
We are meeting Andrew (AKING57) in Lincoln, Nebraska
Andrew left North Carolina at 4am this morning and drove over 800 miles to get near St Louis, Missouri
He will head for Lincoln Nebraska tomorrow (July 5Th) where our routes will intersect
We will all find accommodations near there for Friday night and have dinner together.
We will then all travel together on Saturday to Denver to meet the hosts of CAA5 and enjoy dinner together
Then on Sunday we will be traveling with the locals (hosts) to the top of Mt Evans before arriving in Rifle, Colorado

Lets get this party started !!!!

Emptying memory cards and charging all the cameras and other electronic doodads. A couple people from north of Seattle have begun the trek eastward. We will meet up with them tomorrow, enjoy a good meal, watch some fireworks then hit the road the next morning. Our roadster will be packed full as usual, but i'm thinking I can sneak enough space to keep the sub in there

Man this is getting down to the wire.....can't wait to see everyone in Rifle. Please drive carefully and have safe trips so we can enjoy all of your company. We here in Colorado appreciate the time and effort all of you are taking to visit and will make sure it will be worth the effort.

Is it bad that it is a three day weekend and I want it to be Sunday?

Drove 860 miles today. Stopped for the night in Hays, KS, about 150 miles shy of the CO border. Meeting up with Gary tomorrow at the Englewood hotel and then off to sight see.

Mike, It would have been nice to drive it again with you and Barb. It makes the time fly by when driving in a group with freinds. Maybe another time!

Just a hop, skip, and a jump now. You will start to see the mountains about 70 miles west of Burlington at Genoa.
