Thanks John, those images gave me a laugh. I think the first pair in a graphite color to match your car and with carbon fiber straps would be a perfect driving shoe for you. Maybe a matching pair for Molly, however they would look way better on her.

 

Let me know when the caravan from the north will be coming through Knoxville, TN. area if you will be stopping for lunch (Maryville SONIC perhaps?). Murfi and I may try to intercept you on the way into the lodge. We are so EXCITED to see everyone and the noobs as well. THIS IS GONNA BE GGRRREEAAAATT!!

I was wondering this to , I;m sure Valk will gives us head up , Susan and I will be coming in Fri so may catch them coming down , Bigkid so glad that you are doing better and back to your old self , and you better keep your self that way , or better half going to hurt you , LOL , Susan and I are so looking forward to seeing are old friends and making new ones ,

 

Just to let you all know I'm flying in this fall with the airfare I was unable to use this past spring due to a illness that prevented me from attending
I will be landing at Tyson McGee airport in Knoxville on Friday morning at 11:50 and renting a car.
Should arrive at the lodge around 1:30pm on Friday,
After attending 10 of these meets my real enjoyment is being with the people and not having my car with me is ok this time,

My wife is coming this time, but she will not ride with me everyday. You are welcome to ride along with me. I'll try not to crash the car.

Bring them both. There are plenty of Hicks down there that will be impressed by the 'Vette. Park it in the lot. Meanwhile you can enjoy driving the Dragon in a real sports car

This should give me the best Crossfire experience overall with my friends.
A SRT6 Crossfire Roadster and a NA Crossfire Roadster with a stick both nicely modded with skilled drivers behind the wheel.

See everyone....you can fly in for this meet and have a great time.
Nobody lives to far away to go to the Dragon.

 

It will be the Crossfire this fall Franc ,but Susan did hint to bring both , and must say she can drive the Corvette pretty dam good , just ask the guy up street with the new Mustang Gt 5.0 for some reason he like it better with me driven it , lol but when it her he run the other way LOL , Both cars a lot fun , and may be both, still time to think about it ,

That's as good an idea as I ever heard!

 

I'm hoping to have my SRT calipers and rotors on the car by then. Given my advanced years and failing eyes,,,better brakes might come in handy. I know I hardly use the brakes but along with everything else, I'm getting lazy as I age.
