We have a meeting together on Friday night about 9pm in the lobby of the Fontana Lodge where we all stay.
There is no set itinerary/schedule for our daily drives although many join for dinner back at Fontana lodge in the evenings.
The plans for our daily drives together are organized each morning based on attendance and how the various groups are formed.
Trust me ....it works every time and you will be in a group out enjoying the mountains

WildBill from the GenCouoes here. As per tradition, we will be there the same weekend and can't to hit the road with yall. Also, we have a few Canadians in our group voming again who are trying to talk their crossfire buddies in coming too. We will be sure to point them yalls way.

Yea, we'v picked up a few new Cross's on Facebook in recent months as well. Got one lady talkign about coming from Washington State !

I ALMOST drove up there today to play around, but instead when hiking... under two months, Bill !

 

I wouldn't know what was picked up over on the Cross's facebook page considering they banned me because I gave an opinion on someones car when he was asking for opinions.

 

You and me have got to learn to play nicer on FB!

I got "warned" and figured my delete button would work just as well..

 

Lol I didn't even get a warning when I said it was dumb to put an AMG badge on a base model crossfire.

 

Since you drive an AMG, they probably figured you deserves it.

 

I think the proper term would be "ignorant" - it is IGNORANT to put an AMG badge on a Base Crossfire.

(But I'm sure you'd have been zapped anyway - in any event, all ya did was speak the truth.)

 

Back on topic,,,,I made reservations at the lodge today. Thursday nite thru Sunday nite.

I guess I'm committed.....or should be.

Actually I still owe pizza for the room I shared this spring. LOL He probably won't get paid till that weekend.

 

Larry the Cable Guy does Dragon ??? If my info is right tonight on History channel @ 8 pm CST Larry will give some lessons on driving the Dragon. Some one might want verify this but I'm sure a few of us Dragon lovers could use some of Larry's wisdom's ,I would name a few but I want to be able to attend the Dragon again??? my guide shows, he comes on at nine o'clock, not eight, it says he will be hiking the Appalachian trail, but does not say he will be driving on the dragon but he might,so I will DVR it or DVD or record, whatever you want to call it so I can see it later.jim

 

Also the Sept. Motor Trend has a two page ( 4&5 ) add on the Dragon experience on Oct 15 & 16 . Don't think they could keep up with the Crossfires but I might trade even for one of the cars they or running?? Bright Silver 07
