I won't be able to make it this year, but my father asked to take my DD up to the cruise. By DD I mean my 1987 300TDT wagon shes not quite stock anymore so I will be watching this thread to see any other s.fl members attend. If he plays his cards right I could upgrade him to our ML Bluetec towing the C32 for sale!

I'll mail out for the pass today, been remiss about this. I think I can get over to the park early Saturday, as the week gets closer I can commit to it. That would get the club a spot it wanted. Valk think on this and call when you get a moment. Maybe summer will arrive by then. It's been mostly cool/cold here.
Also meals/schedule anything set in stone yet? If so please refer me to who I should talk too.

In past years, a group of the "early arrivers" gathered at the Chrysler Museum on Friday for a tour as a prelude to the Dream Cruise. Although the Museum in now closed to the public, the mansion built by the widow of one of the Dodge brothers is located across from the museum. Tours are available for $15, and this may be a good alternative for the "Friday Folks" prior to heading down to Memorial Park.

If there's any interest, let me know and I'll set up an informal Friday tour. Here's the link:

Gary, it ain't no big thing to me, but Gene (Sandman50) and his Wife are serious college football fans, and Gene and I are a couple "OHIO" boys. Saying we're from Michigan............well you get the picture.

It's clear that Valky was just trying to help Michigan's dwindling population count by making you guys honorary Michiganders for the Dream Cruise.

All Buckeyes are cordially welcomed into Michigan.....right up until the start of college football season.

John, don't shoot the messanger.
I don't follow sports of any kind.
Well that's not entirely true. Woman's Olympic Volleyball is pretty interesting.

Wanted to share what I had been working on. I hadn't earlier as it was an unknown: no point in getting anyone excited.

First I was working to get the Crossfire prototype brought out for us at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. It can not be done this year
The problem ended up being time/transportation from storage to the museum. I was likely able to have our group allowed in to see it, but the keeper of the keys is already way overbooked with Chrysler Corp. tasks. I'll try again for next year one never knows.

Secondly I've been corresponding with Eric Stoddard about meeting us in some fashion for a meal. After considering options, head count, cars (parking them) time available it looks like Friday night dinner. I'm working now to find a place which can have us, will work for Eric and isn't too far from his home - but isn't too far for XF owners to get too.

Eric is enthusiastic about this, in fact he had invited many of us last year to his home. I left it up to him but pointed out he would end up with 30-50 people all coming over mostly at one time for BBQ. He said his street will not accommodate many cars and honestly asking the guy to grill that much food seemed wrong.

I'd like to keep the group/dinner near his home, for the cars to be parked safely and the food be a decent wide range of selection but not pricey. I'll know in the next few days and post it here.

You have to let me know if your in town Friday early enough to go to a dinner around 7pm or so.

Valk please help me with keeping an accurate headcount for this, is there a empty post that can be used on page 1?
Valk has been keeping me updated on XF things which I really appreciate thank you Gary.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks. Ann

Ann,
I will add the info for who will be at dinner on Friday night in the attendance list in post #2
as the info becomes available to me via a PM from you or a post in this thread.
Count me in for dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Does this mean that Mr. Stoddard won't be showing up at the Memorial Park on Saturday?
