OMG ..... I make one "long" trip per year, and have kinda thought about doing the fall Dragon again this year, BUT now, you guys throw this up just 1 month before ....... its one or the other for me! The "one who makes the rules" has lived in Texas for 13 years, and if I tell her about this possibility........ I will be in big trouble ..... and if I mention that we could spend some time in Branson, MO, either before or after. I know I'm going to cry.....
Besides ... what will I drive? The N/A Limited coupe, or the SRT6 roadster.... "Oh Worry, Worry, Toil and Trouble."

Maybe we should get the CTC Group to organise something in May Maybe in the San Antonio/Austin area Eh ???? Somewhere where we can have one of our Famed Pool Parties. Are you Listening BillF ?????

I like plan #1 better. My reason is that the Track is 500miles north and east of Big Bend and right on I-35 and I-20. We could caravan back to the hotel by the Speedway on friday,hang out at the pool friday night, do the TMS on sat. and drive home on sunday. This way there will be a break on the long drive home. (and the drive home always seems longer.

I was going to say I'm in for the full week.... because I'm use to being a single.... I almost forgot I need to check with the Mr..... still getting use to the married life... lol I'll help with any planning or organizing you fellow Texans need and we are for sure in on the TMS part....

He just went driving with us this weekend so I think he remembers how. Unfortunately, I don't know that we will be making this run, but it depends on what Ruth's school schedule looks like. Sad to say, we won't be making either of the Dragon runs, but we'll hook up with you sometime this year...Ruth should be contacting you before too long.

Met some great folks last year at Virginia City so have been waiting for word about CAA #4.
I thought it may be in CO but TX sounds fine and I like option 1 also.
I will probably be coming from Phoenix...!10 all the way to Fort Stockton. Anybody else in the area wanna caravan?
