Glad to have you with us! What about the 2006 Crossfire appeals to you over other production years? If I were in the market for another Crossfire, I'd probably get either an '04, '05, or '08. The first year of production was the '04 and the '08 was the last one. '05 offered various "trims" - but it was the only year they offered the SRT-6 version, which offered additional horsepower, a permanent spoiler (as opposed to the pop-up one on all other models), multi-spoke wheels, and a more aggressive bumper.

Valky,
You can put me on the tentative list. I really need to make one of these bad boys. However, this may be right around the time I am moving to a new position within my company (99% in another location) and may be having to move, but if I can time it right I might be able to make the Dragon run for the weekend while on my way down south (where I am hoping to be working come October).
Not sure if it matters since I'm only tentative, but thought I'd let you know anyways. Obviously, no hotel booked for me yet.

I like the SRT but would really like the manual shift...
I also like the 06 for price point...
I sat in a 06 ltd the other day (too beat up) and the features were appealing.
I can't afford the 08, and the 04-05's have too many miles..
06 - Black, convertible, Limited, Manual ? = Ya, that's the ticket !
Droid.
p.s. Nice chariot by the way..

Crumpy and I are in. Both cars.
Already bought my Yukon Jack. Nothing "tentative" about it.
I'll make reservations this weekend.

If you are really into the driving, I would offer a suggestion. Stay Friday thru Monday. IMO for the true enthusiast, the Sunday driving is MUCH better as there is usually no traffic, and when you are leaving Monday, you can even get a few runs in with NO traffic. If you are there for the cars and the good times, doesn't matter when you come and go

I drove the Dragon last night on my way home , the road is still closed ,11 miles into Tennessee and I had to return to Robbinsville, . My arm ached this morning as I had also driven part of the Blue Ridge parkway and the Cherahola Skyway before arriving in Lenoir,Tenn
Only 2000 miles before I arrive home, 18 days in a roadster with the top down and 2 carry-ons is easy
