So I have determined I might be able to attend the dragon this year. Does anyone know of any hotels in the near by area, or any rooms left at the lodge. I would like to attend, however I also know I am showing up real late to the dance.

To continue with the "Dragon Pass It On", I also have a set of 4 TPMS sensors that came off my previous set of wheels. Not sure how good the batteries are, but they had about 22K of miles on them. Free to a good home.

They are the original OEM ones, so as far as I know, they do not have replaceable batteries. They are yours if you want them.

Closest town that might still have accommodations is Robbinsville, NC (30 miles away)
Otherwise ya might get lucky and find a room share with someone in our group at Fontnan Lodge.
The Fontana Lodge is booked solid other than 6 to 8 person cabins.
They do have campsites about a mile down the road if ya have a pop up camper or a tent.

Roberta & I should be on the road in 2 weeks to join others at Fontana Dam. Really looking forward to joining others for the Fall Dragon Weekend.
Started 'primping' my 07 Coupe this morning. Did a thorough detailing of the interior and applied leather cleaner/conditioner to the upholstery. Car inside looks REALLY GOOOOOOOD! No 'touchee' until we leave.
Will deal with the exterior over the next couple of weekends.

Can't wait!!!
I would also like to thank Gary, Rudy and Rob for the help you provided me with today. In the end and only with your help was everything sorted out. The shocks are installed along with the lower springs. Now it is times to test it all out at the Dragon!!!
Again thanks...

New tires - check! Car detailed - check! Full gas tank - check! Radio secured - check (thanks Franc)! Kim is really tired but ready to go in 13 days - super check!!! I can't wait. The new tires are really great. Thank you to Gary for the great recommendation. They are quiet & feel like my car is stuck to the ground with super glue. I think the car is more responsive to acceleration too. Of course my last tires were bald & if I stomped the gas I lost the rear end of my car.....
I also forgot to mention that the XF Bears will be taking a trip to the Dragon with me. Bluecoupe is going to be kind enough to smuggle them across the boarder into Canada so they can go visit with beaner!
