Count me in, I will drive to Florence and stay there overnight Thursday and carry on with the crew if that's OK.
I do not want to drive straight through, that's too much for me. I will stay Friday to Sunday nights, leave on Monday and stop on the return trip again.
I will need to share or takeover a room from someone who will have to cancel, not because I'm coming I hope.

I would check at Robbinsville for rooms, as well as other towns nearby...they were always a little cheaper. Marysville isn't that far away either...good luck to you all...

I AM ASKING EVERYONE HERE WHO HAS A ROOM WITH AN EXTRA BED TO CONSIDER OFFERING A ROOM SHARE OPENLY ON THIS THREAD

WE STILL HAVE A FEW WHO HAVE SENT ME A PM LOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATIONS AND ROOM SHARE REQUESTS.

IT'S OUT OF MY HANDS NOW GUYS AND GALS....THE LODGE IS AT FULL CAPACITY EXCEPT FOR THE LARGE CABINS THAT SLEEP 8 PEOPLE.

MIGHT EVEN TURN OUT THAT 8 PEOPLE NEED A ROOM AND YA ALL COULD GO IN ON ONE OF THESE CABINS !!

JUST A THOUGHT.

I also suggest for anyone still in need of accomadations call down there and talk with Lacey Piper at 828-498-2211 between 8am and 4pm est.
She is putting folks on a waiting list...first come first serve for rooms if they become available.

Sounds good but we like driving and we like drinking and we do not do both at the same time.
We prefer to sleep where we drink, if Beaner comes he'll do a lot of drinking and little sleeping, so he really doesn't need a room. He is quite content to spend the night in, on or under but not behind bars.

I fully understand....just don't leave him outside, the temperature outside will drop, and I don't want him to demise to exposure to the cold...if necessary, take a blanket along just for Beaner...and leave him by the campfire, but not too close....We can't lose Beaner...lol....

I HAD ALREADY CALLED DEALS GAP AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY BOOKED AND ALREADY HAVE A WAITING LIST FOR AVAILABILITY.

 

Me and my wife now have reservations in a Laurel and have an extra room so we are more than welling to offer it up if it is needed by anyone. We not sure if the extra room will be 2 twins or 1 queen but it is there for the taking.

We are official coming!!!

hey guys i will need a room thursday night while in ky.. i get out of school at 10pm so i will be in ky at about 1am..

i really dont want to spend money just to sleep in a room for 5 or so hours .. could any one help me out..

 

Ya can crash in my room in Ky....for $20.. LOL

OR....just crash at home and leave around 5am to be at the hotel by 8am to join our convoy.
