Our contract is for group discounts on LODGE rooms only for FRI, SAT, SUN. nights.

We had a block of 45 rooms available with the discount being offered until August 1st.
ALL OF THESE ROOMS HAVE BEEN BOOKED !!

They were kind enough to extend the group rate an additional month to Sept. 1st.

The Garden rooms (down the hill) are not offered to us at the group rate although I know some of our group have been placed there once the lodge is at full capacity.
I'm sure this is based on availability.

Anyone who is has still not made a reservation must talk directly with Lacey Piper at 828-498-2211 in order to try to obtain the $79 group rate.
She assured me that she will personally take care of each member to try and get a reservation at our rate up until Sept.1
If you still are having problems with you reservation send me a PM rather than posting here please.
I will respond quickly to your issues with the lodge if any arise.

I couldn't find any paperwork for my reservations for the lodge so I called. None found. And the cheapest room left is pool-side for $169 Club rate. I left a voice mail with Lacey.

I know the lodge is in the sticks, anywhere else to stay near by?

Don't they have CABINS for less than that?????

Website this spring showed cabins for around $100 a night!

 

are you saying you made reservations and can't find your reservation number?

 

When you make reservations at the lodge, they charge your credit card for one night immediately, then mail the reservation letter to your house. After Gary posted the reminder, I realized I never received a conformation in the mail. Then I checked my CC statement, and no charges where found. So I called and no reservations were made. I always make the next reservation when I check out that morning. This happened in the spring also, I should have been on top of this better.

Lacey emailed me my confirmation, I printed it out and tacked it to my office door right away!
Come to think of it, I think I'll check m credit card now... yup, card charged $79 on August 26th.

Don't feel bad, I tend to let things go like that too, James.

 

I made a few calls .........
This issue has been resolved and James does have a room now.
The lodge has been very willing to work with me.

Next fall I will be getting 60+ rooms in our contract in attempt to avoid using up our entire room block before the cut off date for the group rate.

 

Ok, looks like I'll finally be able to come this year.

I've just booked my room, Fri through to Mon.

I'm going to be driving straight through from NJ so I don't expect to be at the lodge until the late evening, probably around 10pm or so.

Looks like all the lodge rooms are booked up already so they have me on hold for that but unfortunately, looks like procrastination took my wallet for a premium.

It will depend on the weather for sure...If I have to "hot" lap it down there, I prefer dry roads...lol...
