Gary, Barb and I made our reservations last night for Friday and Saturday. Lookin forward to seeing everybody.
I love Woodward, but nothing beats the Dragon for "PURE" enjoyment.
If the Moonshiners would have had our cars, the Feds wouldn't have had a chance.

Made my reservations today for thursday, friday, and saturday nights in one of the rooms outside the lodge.
There are no more rooms at the lodge and the rooms at the other areas at fontana don't fall under the crossfire discount.

Anyone wanna split the cost of a room or cabin?
Hope and I got a Cabin this spring for $79 a night by saying "Crossfire". That didn't work for you Iamfink?

I told them I was with the crossfire group but she said only the rooms in the lodge were covered in the contract. She said if there were any cancellations in the lodge she would notify me and put me in the lodge. I can only hope that someone in the scion group cancels out.

If this is the case, this is where I have stayed for EVERY dragon I have attended and I have never had any issue with the discount. Give them hell, that place makes me mad that we give them so much business and the accomodations are usually a little lacking IMO (ice maker never works, they always put me a 150 foot walk uphill from the lodge, give people issues about the discount, etc)

I will give Gary a call this weekend and find out exactly what he has set up with them. In the past they have been very good about our wants and needs for the group so I'm sure this won't be any different. It'll work out in the end I'm sure. Pat

Our contract is for group discounts on LODGE rooms only for FRI, SAT, SUN. nights.
We had a block of 45 rooms available with the discount being offered until August 1st.
They were kind enough to extend the group rate an additional month to Sept. 1st.
The Garden rooms (down the hill) are not offered to us at the group rate although I know some of our group have been placed there once the lodge is at full capacity.
I'm sure this is based on availability.
I just spoke to Lacey and she said we right now we have 2 more fireplace king rooms available at the $79 group discount.
As for Romio and Iamfink your rate has now been adjusted down to the group rate of $79 for your stay.
Anyone who is quoted any other price other than $79 must talk directly with Lacey Piper at 828-498-2211.
She assured me that she will personally take care of each member to try and get a reservation at our rate up until Sept.1
If you still are having problems with you reservation send me a PM rather than posting here please.
I will respond quickly to your issues with the lodge if any arise.
