Jim, with Doc and Tom gone, I may need someone with some HP to play with . I know you have plenty of power on me, but I can usually keep up in the twisties and it is always nice to have someone to run with that has done it many times before and is familiar with the Dragon. Looking forward to seeing that beautiful SRT of yours too....

 

Boiler I'd be more than happy to run with you guy's thru the dragon on saturday / i'm assuming agressively

 

Thanks for the kind words John. I will be looking foward to running the Dragon with you. If you can keep up with Doc you can hang with just about anyone, that guy can drive! I am hoping something will change and Doc and Tom will show up. They have been at everyone I have attended and it won't be the same without them.

 

I passed you a couple of times and yall were hauling @$$ ....I was movin myself being a first timer....

Yeah, it should be more fun with a smaller, more aggressive group, as long as the other cars out there (MR2's and Vette's especially) know to keep some pace, MR2s were slowing Doc and I down severely last Dragon.

I may have an N/A, but in the twisties is where she shines. Between being a couple hundred pounds lighter than the SRT, my 11" wide ultra sticky tires, and the 6 speed, I can keep up (until we hit the straights of the hell bender, that is always where the SRT guys leave me in the dust ).

 

I look forward to it ....it will be great fun , besides I want to see your car up close , I really like the way it looks , especially the wheels ,,,

I had a chance to run a little with the vette guys last fall and they where smokin ,but my grandson was with me 12 years old so I didn't push it to any extreams but we still had a blast even with the wet roads ,,,can't wait.

Franc, I looked back at the list after responding to John and I saw that you, Jane, Fastfunfor2 along with Doc were not on the list. That is more than half of the 7 car aggressive group I was in at my first Dragon. You all will be missed!

 

Kimpossible will be there. It will be all right

Jim, you will see me in the fall for sure...and you see, I now have a coupe to play with...already filling up the garage with parts to put on her. I will always bring the roadster to the dragon. She is more set up for the twisties, the coupe will be for the straight line stuff. I wish I could come, but we are swamped with loads to haul...need to pay for the parts...lol....anyway, thank you all for the kind words...we will see some of you in St Louis, Carlisle, Woodward, and of course, the Fall Dragon....be safe everyone....

 

Thanks Franc .... not sure how much I add to the driving but I do say some extremely random things that people seem to find amusing!!! Maybe its my lack of internal filter & my fuzzy handcuff keychain that people like about me.

 

Jane won't be there but, you will. Sorry but you will have to do double duty.
Without sounding like the president of your fan club (which I am) you and Jane Bridges are two very bold, intelligent, successfull and frankly exciting women. It makes you both beautiful.

Now don't tell anybody I said that. They'll think I'm sweet on you.

Awwww Franc, now I'm blushing!!! Are you sure you don't want to take a quick little trip over to NC?!?! I was really looking forward to sitting out on the back with you and Cathy chatting in up in the shadow of those beautiful mountains!!! I guess we will have to wait until June!! I'm certainly not "Franc" but wouldn't mind sitting out back at Fontana and chatting it up with you in the shadow of those beautiful mountains.

 

Don't think it'll happen. We are so busy at work, a good thing I guess.
And the CAA is going to require a lot of time and energy. Gotta make a trip to Texas to pick up an SRT and then there will need to be be party favors or something.

But for the Fall Dragon Cathy and I will both be there. So if you can get away, we will look for you on the back deck.

I'll have Cathy on one arm and a bottle of Glenfiddich on the other. You business girls can compare notes and I'll just dispense stuporous wisdom.

As I recall the fall one is tough for you. Maybe this year you can bribe your boss

Gary, you know I love your company too!!! The adjusted dates for the Dragon work way better for me this fall. I can't wait to see the leaves changing!! I asked for the days off at the end of last year.

I do have to say that as much as I love my car, it's making friends like you guys that have made this my favorite car experience ever. I hope it goes on for years to come.
