Looks like a great turnout here
If I was not already doing a 10 hour round trip to Woodward and a 22 hour round trip to the Dragon I would have committed to this long haul and come down to join all of you.

Mike, you had me going for a while too. I don't kow if I'm John P or FTroopchief, so I use them both. :)
Contact Ray Hacker or Chas Knight to see about CICCI name change. Also is your moniker here TEX OR TES?

See ya at BABE'S

Come on Gary. Why not include a 30 hour round trip into the mix?

You can get your nephew's SRT-8 join Franc's brother's new Camaro SS.

Just PM me your Last Name, First Name, Address and Telephone number. I will guarantee this reservation for you (no need to give me your credit card number - take it as a crossfire honor ), if you try and call the reservation center, they will not honor that rate, nore will they take a reservation for this property as of yet. If for any reason our opening rate goes down (four months is a life time in this business) I will discount accordingly

Yeah go.... crossfires... 16 down, 34 to go..... I have plenty of rooms
Hey guys, September 26, approaches soon and I have some even greater news. We are slashing the rate for the opening week to $39,- per night. Will only charge 1 person rate to all of you that are staying with us. The official opening date is September 21, so many of you that will stay here will be the first in their rooms (brand new “everything”). It looks so cool already.

I recommend “all” crossfires gather at the “brand new” motel 6 before going to lunch – only a few miles away from Roanoke. The lobby is big enough to hold all of us. And what a great photo – opportunity it will be with over 30 crossfires in front of my motel

For reservations just PM me: your full name, address, Telephone number, 1 or 2 beds, smoking or non smoking.

I have a few reservations already, but I know there are a lot more people from far away that need lodging. The motel is less than ½ mile away from the Speedway.

Eric

Way to go, Eric! Thanks for the support to your fellow Crossfire-ites (Crossfire-ans..., what is the term???)

I like the idea of meeting at your place - it gives us more of a chance to caravan through town with the group. I saw quite a few heads turn last time when the group went from Babe's to the track. Just think of the sight we'll pose with 30+ Crossfires cruising through the city!

You de man Eric!

Once I can get everything finalized with our track time and tour time with TMS, I'll update the original post with all the details. They are very hard to get hold of in the summer.
