I can give you the lowest rate and knock another 10% off (PM me), got a few freebies I can give away. You know who you are (talked to you allready CTC), just PM me. Have no rate set as of yet, but will be in the lower 40s.
Will you keep the light on for us?

eeric, that motel sounds great! Sorry I missed you at the GTG, lifes been hectic with the new house. So did I miss out on the CTC deal? Or does it still apply since I am CTC?

Anyway, sounds like a fun way to spend a couple days, and it is pretty close to my birthday, so kinda like a present too.

We don't need any major after party place. A hotel would do, but I think a pool hall would be awesome! Drink some jack and shoot some pool.
Im down with that!!!!!! but i would prefer shots of patron, nuvo, and remy n coke! and i think we will head back home that night since we live in the north dallas area

Question:

I will be doing my best to keep up with two SRT's on the way down to Dallas. Both of these ladies are crazy and i will have to pedal hard to keep up in my NA. That said, after building my legs up on the trip down, I will be pumped and ready to push hard on the track.

Exactly how fast will we be allowed to go?

Any safety gear requirements?
I will be sober, insured and excited. What else might I need.?

Franc, on the second go round, some of our guys got up to 120....

eeric, did I miss it?? I didn't know your hotel was right there at the speedway...

There are not any pool halls right around the speedway, there are few further closer to Ft Worth or Roanoke/Grapevine or even Keller.

What do you locals think? Maybe Roanoke/ Grapevine area to make it easier for those from the Dallas area to go home...?

There are a few places maybe in Justin or a little closer to the track than that... but nothing I would want to take my car to... I've been there and know the yokels that hang in those back woods places... ya know... lol

Franc! If it's any help, Char was in front of me with her stick and it was all I could do to keep up with her.

As far as safety gear requirements go, you'll have to take that up with Kathy because only NHTSA requirements are needed to run the track.

I had heard Char was one of those fast girls. Can't wait to meet her.

I'll be coming in with one on each arm, so to speak. Racing Jane and Cathy both down here from St Louis, I 'spect I'll be tired upon arrival having peddaled all the way just trying to keep up.

Isn't it the coolest thing to have so many women driving these great cars? And I mean, serious drivers. It really makes GTG's interesting and fun.

And OleDoc2U, you had better show up and help. 'Cause at my age, three fast women will be about my limit.

Thumbs up Re: Texas Motor Speedway - Running of the Xfires II - Sept. 26th

Dan, can you find out what activities go on around the speedway during the day?
Ron Gordner said he and wife took a ride around the track in a van. Guess it was a part of a tour??

Ron if you're reading this, how about it?

Char,
The hotel is being built right now, two weeks ago we finished with the frame. So it's easy to miss it, also working on a new signage for people to see. It's right across 35 on 114 (other side of speedway) behind the gas station

They do offer facility tours. I'll call to see how long the tours take. Lunch at Babes is at 3pm so we could do a group tour at noon or 1pm. Let me know who is interested. We need 20 people to reserve a group tour.

Click here for more information on the tour: Facility Tours / Store - Texas Motor Speedway

Got the rate confirmed... I will charge $45,- plus Tax for a room (up to 4 people in a room) that's a potential saving of $16,- per night. Just PM me your Last Name, First Name, Address and Telephone number. I will guarantee this reservation for you (no need to give me your credit card number - take it as a crossfire honor ), if you try and call the reservation center, they will not honor that rate, nore will they take a reservation for this property as of yet. If for any reason our opening rate goes down (four months is a life time in this business) I will discount accordingly

Yeah go.... crossfires... 16 down, 34 to go..... I have plenty of rooms
