Add me to the list.....

Dan, If we get more than the 6 rooms needed to get that special rate at the hotel, I can go back to the hotel and ask for a better rate.

Also, for the after party, do we want to hang out at the hotel bar? Or should I research a more music background friendly place?

Dan: I'm in. I made your job easier as Franc and Kathy are going to go as well. I think there might be a few more from up here. I really feel that Doc just needs to give in and come along as well.

I will be looking into staying at the Marriott. I so look forward to a great Texas adventure and your Hoosier Hospitality.

YEEEEE HAAAAA!!!!! Here I come, Cowboys!!!!

That's great Char! We'll have a better idea on number of rooms in a few months.

I going to go over to the hotel soon to take a look around the bar. But open to any other ideas.

Thanks for your help Char!

Cool. If anyone books at the Marriott, make sure it is the one across the street from TMS ( http://www.marriott.com/dfwmc ) and tell them you are with the DFW Chrysler Crossfire group. Right now we have a rate of $89, but if we book more than 6 rooms, we can ask for a better rate.

The bar at the Marriott is nice, however seems very quite. No background music. So it just depends on what the group wants to do.

If you go to the hotel ask for Rudi in sales or Bryan Murphy.

A HEARTY TEXAS WELCOME folks!
We'll be working to get the best rates possible at the Marriott. And if you play golf, bring the clubs. The Marriott has an 18 hole golf course.

Hey, for you budget minded. I am the General Manager of our Brand spanking new Motel 6 right accross the speedway (plan to open in the first week of September, almost 100% sure by the 26th). This hotel is exciting, cause it's not only new, but also a new motel the whole economy segment will look for (totaly green).

I can give you the lowest rate and knock another 10% off (PM me), got a few freebies I can give away. You know who you are (talked to you allready CTC), just PM me. Have no rate set as of yet, but will be in the lower 40s.

Eeric: Are one of those freebies a cowboy hat?

Make me a deal for me and all my friends. We just want to have a good time.

Eric, you've been holding out on us.

That's great news! You are now the designated hotel/motel man!

How far is the speedway from Plano?

We'd like to stay at my brother's which begs another question.
He is into Vettes, Pontiacs and is taking delivery of his new Camaro in Sept. (assuming GM stays alive to build it). Might want to join us.

Would that corrupt the fun or add to it?

Looking good guys and gals. Dan, rgordner (Ron, bringing 2 cars) from CTC/Schertz signed on in South Forum.
Hey Char, doin' GREAT! If (hahahaha) adult beverages involved, and not at Hotel Bar, how far to drive, don't wanna give Barney and ideas. Do they have an outdoors party area if weather is nice?

Hey Dan . . . maybe there could be a listing beside the names to point out where they are coming from? so every one can see the scope of this GTG.

Count me and the wife in. Definitely the NFS group!

eeric, that motel sounds great! Sorry I missed you at the GTG, lifes been hectic with the new house. So did I miss out on the CTC deal? Or does it still apply since I am CTC?

Anyway, sounds like a fun way to spend a couple days, and it is pretty close to my birthday, so kinda like a present too.

We don't need any major after party place. A hotel would do, but I think a pool hall would be awesome! Drink some jack and shoot some pool.

At this point we are planning on taking both cars. Don't know if both will make laps but both will make the trip.

Never Mind. Crumpy says she wants to party with the group. That said, we will stay at the motel.

Yippee Kay Yeah!
