I just got one of those PMs. Since I live in Roanoke, does that mean I'm required to go? Either way I'm gonna go.

Put me down also! Very few Crossfires in Abilene, and it needs to be with its own kind if just for a day! Mikenewb

P.S. Oh, also put me down in the NFS group! ;-)

More information has been added to the Original Post. If you are going to be here Saturday morning, there will be a Cars and Coffee get together about a 45 minute drive from the Motel 6.

Cars and Coffee....Sounds great !!
Just need to be sure Victor and I have a ride since were flying in.

As I mentioned to Eric in a PM:
My nephew will be coming from Austin,TX. in his 2001 Porsche Carrera convertible.
Staying at the Motel 6 Friday and Saturday and running on the TMS Saturday.
This has become a very cool GTG !!!
Glad I'm gonna be there !!!

Dan, I see I'm listed twice , last one # 44. My reply was for Texas T for the name tags. Sorry for the confusion.
FYI: I will be bringing only one car unless my GSon gets off work.
For Gary: If I have an empty seat for he first run, you or Victor are welcome to fill it. ALSO you are welcome to drive my SR6 for the second run while I take pics.

John,
A very generous offer and a SRT run on the TMS sounds to good to pass up.
I'm sure Victor will take all the rides he can get while we are there.
Thank You !!

Thumbs down Re: Texas Motor Speedway - Running of the Xfires II - Sept. 26th

No doubt about it now. The bi-annual antique show in Round Top, TX that I am part of will be setting up the weekend of this event, and not the following weekend as I thought. This year just fell plain wrong. I have been doing this show for the last 10 years and had committed to it again 6 months ago, so I can't on good terms bail. I was so looking forward to going, but hopefully next time, as this will be my last year to do the show.

Hope you guys have fun, I will be sweating in a field of antiques, but on a good note the money is ridiculous.

Sorry you can't make it. I understand about your commitment, but your going to miss out on a good time!

If you are bringing a guest to the TMS and haven't posted a name please let me know so no one is left out.

If possible I will need:

Name
Type of car they will be riding in, including the color. (or who they will be riding with if they do not bring their own vehicle)
Where they are from (ex: Houston, Tx)

Thanks!
Danny (Texas t) Hope you got your -6. I created some confusion with Dan (Infernoredxfire) posting my name tag info in this thread to "Danny". My fault.
Dan, IRX, maybe Danny, T t should have a separate list? Hate to lose my wife if we don't know who we are )
