Hey everyone! New member here. Been reading for forums for a while now, but never got around to becoming a member until today! I'm definitely in for a drive to St. Louis, along with tighed1 (ran into each other randomly at a restaurant in town!). June 20 - 30 works for me, and the distance isn't much of a problem. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

Awesome! And this definitely sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun! Just need to get some people that are in the area (AZ, NM, CO, maybe CA as well) so we can meet up, stage the convoy, and make sure that everyone is accounted for that's going (sorry, military training can get a hold of me sometimes!). =D

Oceanside - The end result is going to be St. Louis (Franc's lawn, apparently, with a fridge full of beer on his porch! =P) and the start point can be anywhere. I believe to get to St. Louis, we down in the SW have to head through Albuquerque, so we can pick you up there on the way through. Just have to figure out where along the route to grab ya!

Do we have a list of where everyone is located (at least in my region)? If not, could anyone down here in the SW area PM me and let me know where you are at? That way we can coordinate and start working on where to meet up? Thanks in advance!

I was thinking of a stock tank. We Hillbillies are using it for a hot tub now but I could remove the welding torch and fill it with ice, Mountain Dew, RC cola and have a hamper full of moon pies.

What route are going to take through Colorado?

 

Only preliminary, but it looks like I40 from SoCal, But the North West area may go through Colorado. We will start having logistic meetings in a couple weeks for those who want to help.

 

the list is up to date with 60 already confirmed as attending.
I spoke with Karl (SRT SIX) today and in a week or so he will try to arrange a conference call for those who become involved in the regional planning.
This has the potential to be really big and we have almost a year to promote it and get the word out.

We are extending our invite here to "Needswings", "TVT" and "Eurocharged/LET" to attend and provide services and accessories at the meet.

The possibilities are endless and this should prove to be a very exciting time for all our Crossfire members.
I suggest you "subscribe" to this thread and check it daily for updates when ever you log in.

Well, just catching up today, been a long summer already, truckin' is finally slowing down...so, SRTSIX, VALK, you can count me in to help organize the Indiana group, if there is one, for our trip out west....Our travel time is short, just a day's drive for us, so if there is any help needed your way Franc, we could work something out I am sure....good luck everyone...

 

It's just a thought, but if the people in SoCal take I40 towards Albuquerque, NM, and some of us in AZ taking I10, and then take I25 N to get there, and continue west.

itsky - Not sure where you are at in Colorado, but from my point of view, looks like it'll be easiest to take I25 S to Albuquerque, NM.

Granted, all of this is just speculation, considering we haven't gotten anything hammered out, but it's a thought. Also, Valk or SRT SIX, do we know where the members are at that're going? Just so I know how many people I might be corralling? =P And like I said before, anyone down here (that isn't in SoCal, I think SRT SIX is picking that up), drop me a thread here or PM me and let me know, and I'll start putting things together.

 

I'm in the Denver area. It's a direct shot for me to take I-70 all the way to St. Louis.
