Sitting here on the front porch of our cabin at Jellystone park next to six flags.
It is nice out right now. Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple days.

I'll be arriving in town tomorrow afternoon sometime with the midwest convoy of hopefully seven.
I'll probably drop by on Tuesday after the welcome breakfast to come hang out for awhile.

Thanks guy! Actually we've never done the Dragon in the fall, but it is far more likely now, son will be off to U of M, yes happiness can be bought, well maybe just rented

And if Gary saves his spare change and crinkled bills he might be able afford to buy the gas to bring the Snake AKA Mongo AKA the Viper.

It stinks missing this event though, I had been excited knowing we were getting to hang out with old friends and making some new ones.

I'll be hangin' as well since the coupe didn't make it...we will talk about that when I get there...waiting for a thunderstorm to pass so I can leave here...and get out there...lol

 

I am here in St. Louis and was just informed by Eric that Tuesday afternoon racing at Gateway International racetrack has been cancelled due to the high outdoor temperatures. Wednesday evening does not seem to be a problem at this time. Stay posted for any more current updates and any other updates we can provide, we will do so at the welcome breakfast at the hotel between 8 and 9 am Tuesday morning.

 

Now that is a bummer....I am going to be bored very shortly....might just go gamble now...lol

 

Roberta & I arrived safe and not too road weary early afternoon. Already won some money at the slots this afternoon so we'l get to gamble on Harrah's cash for awhile. Yeah, Right!!!!

Checked in at our hotel down the street from Harrah's. Getting ready to head back to Harrah's and meet the other CAA participants.

TODAY
Many of us went to Franc Rauscher's place of buisness where Eurocharged is tuning a lot of Crossfires yesterday and today.
He provided a great lunch with burgers and brats and COLD drinks.
We also had a few shady spots to wash the cars at the shop.

Others went on the Clarksville driving tour and have not yet returned to the hotel.

It is hot here but regardless we are all having a good time hanging out together and tonight many of us will attend a local baseball game where we have the party deck reserved for dinner and watching the game.
Prior to the start of the game we will be driving our Crossfires around the outer edge of the baseball field and announced to all the fans in attendance.

I uploaded some pics of the baseball game parade in my gallery. Everything has been fantastic so far at CAA. We are all having a great time despite the heat and humidity.

I'll try to post more pictures as time allows, but rest assured that many of the attendees here have been snapping photos.

It is hot hot hot Johnny....humidity is 100% we'll giving the poor old roadster a work out tonight....at the round track, but probably won't work too hard, still need to get home...you missed a good time...see you soon....need to get together this weekend...talk roll bars, check out the coupe....
