The updated list is great... Thanks.

PM sent to Eric.

Also I really thought this would be bigger than a Dragon Run. Come on guys, change you schedules, change your mind, and attend. This is a great chance to meet other forum members from the other side of the states. You know the St. Louis group has put a lot of time and effort to get this together for us. Come join us.

Yes there are quite a few hotels along I70 , some decent ones out by Wentzville.
Holiday Inn Wentzville 636-327-7001
Best Westen St Peter's 636-397-7101
The Days Inn at Lake St Louisis nice 636-561-1776.

The Red Roof Inn is closer to Harrah's 636-946-0015

There are some cheap motels out bythe plant but I suspect your lady friend would prefer a place where they rent rooms by the nite, not by the hour.

List updated. Still have a number of people not committed to any activities. People need to understand none of these activities outside of the racing are pay when you get here/at the door etc, as we have to give them numbers and pay in advance.

Also, for the last night, we have 63 signed up for the farewell dinner with plenty of room for more to sign up for.

So those of you who have signed up and know the others, please try to encourage them to get going.

I agree with James1549, come on people this event is a great idea for a huge GTG and to make a statement about our cars and our passion for our cars, but its up to you to make it successful. Some of us are coming all the way from Arizona and California. Just to meet some of you and see your cars. Change your schedules, might not have this type of oppertunity in the future.

When are you ever again going to get 4 hours of track time for 50 bucks.
I drove all the way to Forthworth TX just to pay Texas Motor Speedway $30.00 to follow a pace car at 70MPH three times around the track.

Come in just for the track nite. Spend the night at any hotel and still meet with friends
Come just for a tune and a ball game on Tuesday.
Or one wine tour.

Jus' Jump In and be part of somethin'that may never happen again.

Default Resistance is Futile!

I'll do this for everyone, but there's an incentive opportunity here I don't want to miss...

If you come to the CAA,
and you've never driven an SRT6... you can drive mine

If you come to the CAA,
and you've got a stock SRT6 and wonder what adding a dual cold air intake,
178 pulley and a tune can do to to your car... you can drive mine

And if you come to the CAA,
just to drive my car...I'll let you drive it in any of the race venues we attend... and I'm scheduled for all of them

Resistance is Futile

Great idea Wedge.

And after they drive yours I'll sell them a ticket for the gorgeous Aero Blue SRT they might get to take home.

Yer right! Resistance is futile.

Good news for those who have not made their hotel reservations. I met with the Harrah's coordinator and her boss this afternoon for about an hour. They have agreed to a couple of things for those who missed deadlines (see I can be PC )

1. On a case by case basis and dependent on room availability, my point of contact will work with members of the group directly to get you rooms at the rate we advertised. This is really good news as they easily sell out or at least have a 98% occupancy rate every night.... To take advantage of their willingness to work with us, UPDATE:
Call one or the other and they can assist you.

Michele M. 314-770-7652 or
Larry M. 3140770-8131

2. For the breakfast only, they are allowing me to add names to the list up until the week prior to our meet. However, this will mean you will need to pay us prior to me adding the name. I have to work with the banquet center for the dinner (not necessarily easy).

The hotel, while a big business, is being very accommodating, so let's take advantage of their graciousness even if it is a case by case basis.

I must stress, our next deadline for other activities is this Friday (4 June) for counts and money. Please don't delay as the other vendors are more than likely not going to work with us like Harrah's.

Great news Eric !!
C'mon folks, if your still on the fence about coming.....just do it !!!
This will be a fun GTG and the more folks we have the better it will be.
These guys and gals in St.Louis have invested more time and money to plan this GTG and make it what it is than any other Crossfire meet that I know of to date so please don't miss out.

It's one week out of your year that is worth using some vacation time for so tell the boss ya won't be at work from June 21 - June 25 and come join us !!

I noticed the Ohio Valley Regulars are putting together a convoy group and even rumored to be making polo's to recognize each other....in the South the Texan's are forming their convoys....what about the rest of you?

You know how neat it is to see a bunch of classic cars driving down the road, that is along the same line as when people see at least three of these cars...the more the neater it is. Just remember that writer a while back that stumbled on a group; he was so excited he wrote a story about it.

If you had that blue baby in a roadster, I think my wife would seriously consider buying it.

Why don't you just buy a bunch of raffle tickets and get the blue one? Sorry Danny, but I've got priorities.
