All that said, let's not get a head of ourselves, we still have to enjoy this one. One thing we are considering doing is putting the next CAA up for a vote at this first one.

Good comments...from all regarding the next location
We owners need to recognize the need to go to various places rather than our own backyards. But again, let's enjoy the first and see what comes about with the second.
Which by the way we are into Mar come tomorrow, so hopefully we get more sign up activity as we will have to be providing down payments for a few of the locations fairly soon and there has been very little activity in this area. Not to mention for an estimated 122 attendees, the hotel rooms are not going very fast (i know a number of people don't have a nice enough boss to decide this early on vacations)

I know I haven't signed up for the events yet, because I am waiting for some of the Ohio Valley/Indiana groups to be able to make their decisions. I'm going to try to at least convoy down with some of them, although I may have to come early to get the tune up on Monday. About March/April we'll be rolling the cars out of hibernation, and then I think we'll start doing some planning
In the mean time, the St. Louis people (and Erzer) should all be congratulated for the time and effort being expended on this first of it's kind (for us) GTG.

That goes without saying, Dennis. We will thank them in person in June. I am just hoping someone will keep these type of get togethers going, and if so, they need to be thinking about it now. If not, then we are back to the old gtg as usual.....I like the fact that DJ brought it up...but it will take more than one person to put it together, just like the St. Louis group is doing...just something for the left coasters to think about. In the meantime, Carlysle will be the right coast thing for me right now...

I have Tuesday thru Thursday reserved, but am thinking of heading out on Monday. Like Gary said, if someone passing thru from the east needs a stop over, we are just north of Indy...30 minutes from I-70...I am open as to when to head out or to meet up. We have a lot scattered throughout Indiana, but we are in the middle of the state, so anything goes. There's still plenty of time to organize...but I would think by mid-May we should finalize what we would like to do...or not do...

We already have five commitments for tunes on Monday, assuming I can get Gregg, Tony and the boys in town for it.
As for me, I don't mind staring at the Eroucharged girls but Tuesday, I'm all set for the winery.

Franc;
You can put me on that list for tuning. I can come down Sunday or Monday to have it done before the festivities. If I have to spend Sunday night in the casino and Monday watching the Eurocharged girls with you, so be it! I'll just suffer through. Let me know if they need a deposit to get the equipment down to St Louis.

DC' XFire and I (smfrycruzr) are planning to drive up from Yukon (just west of OKC) on Monday. We'll just take I-44 straight there, about 8 1/2 hours. We would like to join up with anyone from the southern and or western states that might be coming through that day.
Then we head back home on Friday, could do a run back home with any others then also.
