No there are no bunk beds in the hotel...this is the Midwest, not the West. You sleep on the ground in the woods if there ain't room in the inn.

I must release all rooms on May 14th, 2010; anything after that and I incur expenses. Our rate for a double room is $89. Without the group discount the rate has been $99; no telling if it will change. I can tell you that the rates do go up the closer to the date of the event as the hotel knows they are going to sell out with regular guests.

If everyone waits till May to book, there may not be enough rooms at the event rate; as long as we know we need more prior to the 15th, we might be able to have the hotel set aside more. So to answer your second question, as soon as you know you are going to be coming as I only had a total of 90 rooms on hold.

Also let me take this time to point out the activity reservations & payments are due no later than 1 Jun. Once the activities are full, we can try to add more, but the closer we get to June it will be harder to add spaces at some of the venues.

 

I;m sorry , But I;m really working hard on getting the time off , as for right now i can not do anything ! It sign of the times Susan just stared a new job six weeks ago and my work as had cut backs , I have 7 weeks vac coming but for some reason eveybody need that week off , I have 32and half years but the other guy as 34 years in and one of us has be there , Keep everthing Crossed and maybe he will trade weeks with me . I know i have talk to Doc about it, this one you don;t won;t to miss ! I;m working on it !!

 

We hope that you can make it as well as all who have previously expressed a desire or those that have yet to even indicate they "want in". Maybe we can have someone in a dark suit and sunglasses visit and recommend his vacation plans accommodate your plans...



For others in a similar situation, haven't had their time approved, or you just don't know, please know those of us planning do understand the situation. I only hope enough people who know they are going to make it can reserve their rooms soon enough so that I can request more rooms earlier than later should we need to.

 

Just like everything with jobs these days, PTO seems to be getting more competitive. I requested CAA off last August. They told me I was crazy almost a year out, but I wanted to make sure I could be there.

I think that we might have a few room shares going on too .... I know I am splitting a room!!

Yes, there are about 3 rooms with sharing going on that I can trace. That is the best answer if possible as it helps keep costs down and rooms available. While we have 120 signed up, two have dropped and a third is still contemplating. I really hope we can max out the attendance, this could be the start of things to come in the future.
