Gary, reading thru the posts, if someone were to want to fly in...I am sure we could make a pick up possible like your trip to Texas....correct? Again, I am available to come out early if necessary to help with anything...just let me know by January, that's when I will make my reservations, and decision on how many days to stay....right now, I am thinking of arriving Monday afternoon, leaving Saturday...that can change if need be...

 

Fly In's to St. Louis are more than welcome.
I'm certain with all the Crossfires there that rides to and from the airport will not be a problem as well as transportation over the three days.
I personally will have my wife along for this one but I am sure there will be many others riding solo.
I would certainly recommend that anyone flying in be sure to secure a member for a ride as I did recently with my visit to the Texas Motor speedway in Dallas/Ft.Worth

 

I will be there with the Van too for lugage

 

This cold spell will be gone by then, I don't know that you need that much clothing

I am on the Northside of Indy and Doc is less than 20 miles from me, you are welcome to caravan out with one of us if the timing works out right. Glad to see you will be joining us.

The towing hitch should be perfected by June, and available in time for towing a small 5th wheel trailer to St Louis

I am not sure the exact dates we are going to attend as of yet, but I am sure I will keep it simple and just take 465 south to 70 and 70 all the way to St. Louis....

 

There are some of us coming from Southwest Indiana as well (Janebridges, tpoag and myself). Are we looking at hooking up in a convoy?

When you guys from Ind. figure out your timing let me know and maybe I can follow too. My schedule would be open but my wife's might be tougher. Lafayette here.

 

I checked the map, and it looks like the Indianapolis group will be taking I-70 into St. Louis, while the soutern IN group will be driving I-64. I also checked the Bohrmian's route map and found that no one has established a route down I-70 or I-64.

I'll take this discussion to the "Indiana Meet and Greet" thread to see what the "Hoosiers" want to do. There are also some Louisville and Cincinnati area folks who will probably want to jump on one route or the other.

I am thinking Mon-Sat am...for my stay, but, again, I am open to anything at this point....70 is the obvious route for those of us North of I-70...I-64 traffic will meet up with us on the by-pass in St. Louis. So, we should see a lot of each other, but not if we are all leaving on different days...Naught...I could change to Sunday, if Franc has job for us to do...doesn't matter...

 

Now I have a problem , U2 is playing an open air concert on the 23 rd @ Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton, and I have 6 free tickets, . Crossfire/ U2-- U2 / Crossfire , AH I will sell the tickets and pay for my trip and have a Penthouse in each hotel I stay in over the road trip ,problem solved
