Actually we are at 116. The first poll item is at 99. That is for those who want to attend. the second item is for attend and help, that is another 17.

But that is not enough.....on to 200!

 

However, in the first post, we are only at #99.. Not sure how the poll got a little skewed there.

That isn't the way that reads..... and is not a good idea to present it that way!!! Is very Negative.... you need to quote it as it appears..... doesn't say "I don't want to have anything to do with any of you!" get a quote right or don't quote it at all!!!

Don't put a negative twist on this event... it is too important to the group as a whole... and we don't want good people like Oldman dropping out.

Just my thoughts for you to consider.

I will work out the list regarding the true numbers with VALKRYDERGUY, but as of right now we are at #99.

But first I have to figure out what is going on with old man.

 

Well I certainly hope he isn't dropping out because of this tread, because we all will have a VERY good time at this meet and I would hate for anyone to miss out on this event... sometime we have to ignore what others are saying or doing and do our own thing.... we don't all march to the beat of the same drum.... afterall. It's all about the Crossfire, not about opinions.

I apologize to anyone if they took my words as negative. I was just paraphrasing. This is very important to me, I started this whole thing. I was just pointing out that there are two levels of YES. One for those who want to attend AND those who not only plan to be there but also want to help. That is why you have to add the two together. You can only select on choice so 1 plus 2 = the grand total.

 

Not a problem, we just need to keep this things as light as possible... so many get offended by innoncent words. I think we will all have an absolutely wonderful time, I know I will, I have a feeling the whole event will be full of laughs and good times and a great opportunity to meet the ones on the forum we may not have otherwise met... I know the West coast can't easily attend our Dragon Meet etc.... and it is such a shame, as we can't attend your great landscape!! GOD I wish I could... so this is a great to be able to meet just about everyone on the forum and put a face to a name...

The list was created by using the votes for St.Louis (43) in the other thread and then adding to that list from all the posts this thread.
There are votes in this thread by members who didn't post and also the problem with this poll is we have no way to view the names of who voted.

 

All good. The more important list for me right now is the hotel list so I'll solicit once again.

If you have made reservations using the Harrah's deal the STL group managed to get, please send me a PM with the inclusive dates and your legal name; this way I can make sure you are on the list if they provide me.

Now if you have made other accommodations and haven't already told me, could you please send me a PM as well with just your dates and the hotel you are using?

Had I known the reaction to my "99" comment 'I would have kept quiet about it !!'. And I hope 'OLD MAN' didn't quit as a result (I'm one too!!) And to those that have responded about the numbers on THE LIST please don't take this as criticism of your response(s). I really think they were made constructively rather than destructively. I don't make many posts but do try to read the threads that get my attention on both forums. The vast majority of those I do read either educate or amuse me (sometimes BOTH). I've seen some real humorous comments made here that have me laughing out LOUD and I look forward to more of those!!! I have also seen a few (very few) comments that make me wonder why the person didn't just ignore whatever was posted and view something else (If you can't say something nice...etc., etc.,) AND, yes, I do know everyone is entitled to their opinion !!! If I'm going to post anything it will take me several minutes of thought before I start writing - and also reading (and maybe editing) it several times before I do submit it. That's probably why I've had so few posts. And factor in that I've too often had great difficulty removing my size 12's from my mouth which causes me to be cautious about what I say/post !!!

I really appreciate the efforts made by all those that have created (and contributed) to CICCI and see it as the most effective way to deal with the fact that we are a group of less than 80,000 vehicles worldwide. Together we can all benefit by belonging and contributing in whatever ways we can.
