I'm sure there will be a group but I don't know as of now who all will be going.
We will probably get the numbers at the Friday night drivers meeting I hold at 9pm in the lodge lobby.

 

Just found out from Zahanma that he will not be attending so that opens up a spot with me if someone is still looking to split a room. It's a queen double room so you don't have to worry about me stealing all the covers. hehe. PM me for more info.

Sheesh. Would you guys stop posting the weather reports. It's too far out for that to have any chance of being correct. Heck, the forecast for a day or two in advance is wrong half the time, unless you live in San Diego where it's sunny and 78 degrees every friggin day.

 

I agree with Tom........really putting a damper on my excitement.

Unfortunately, Rudy is right, I won't be able to make it this fall. Some things have come up (nothing terrible) but I just need to take care of them, and I'm just not sure it will be handled by next weekend. So I had to give Rudy the heads up... I'm leaning towards thinking it will be taken care of before then as of now, but am not 100% certain and didn't want to leave Rudy hanging.

Rudy, again let me know what half the cost is of the room and I will still pay my end if no one steps up.

My apologies and I'm already eyeing spring 2010.

 

Due to some health problems I just cancelled our room reservations at the Fontana Lodge. They were for Thurs/Fri/ Sat evening. So they should have at least one open room if anyone wants it.

Maryann and I won't be there. Everyone have a great, safe time. Remember: (To steal and old MG slogan) SAFETY FAST!

I fully agree and even if the weather isn't perfect the GTG is still the best ever.
Heck in Spring of '08 it rained ALL weekend and everyone still had a great time.

 

Yep it did !!! and was a great time ! Susan and I are taking off to Gatlinburg tonight to start are Vac .look like weather for the Dragon is going be cloudy with 30% chance Rain ,I;ll take that ! will keep you all posted on weather as we Close , For all that are coming ,be safe , For the one's hitting the Dragon the frist time KEEP THE TRACTON CONTROL ON !!!!!untill you know road , last year was a good year we did not lose a car let keep it that way ! Roberta & I are going to pass on next weekend's Dragon GTG. We've got a family medical crisis we're dealing with and will be for awhile.

I'll be cancelling our room tomorrow morning when I can talk to the reservation desk.
