If anyone reading this has wheel/tire knowledge, please check out my post:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...681#post356681

I could really use some help, I definitely do not want to miss the Dragon, but may have to if I can't get this wheel situation figured out. Thanks guys (and gals).

Cathy and I are planning to leave Thursday, mid morning. Forecast is rain mostly. We will try not to bring it with us.

The discounted rate closed out a week or two ago.
They still have rooms at the regular rate of $99.

One of Gary's most recent posts (#692) stated that everyone would get the group rate.

Hands - I would recommend that you PM VALKRYDERGUY for assistance if the Lodge is not cooperating.

I am putting together my check off list of must have stuff for the Dragon.

1) Crossfire, prepped and cleaned.
2) Fresh oil change
3) Clothes for 4 days and a wedding
4) Bottle of Glenfiddich
5) Credit cards with room for gasoline and rooms.
6) Cash for tips and road food.
7) Proof of insurance
8) $385.00 Cash. In small separate envelope for contributions to local law enforcment charity.
9) Quick spray polish and rags for brake dust on wife's SRT
10)Small cooler if it fits in roadster.

DID I MISS ANYTHING?

Why you shouldn't what?

We most definitely want you to join us and Valk should be able to assist you if you are having problems getting the group rate. Looking forward to meeting you there.

My kind of list! Make sure the bottle has an unbroken seal. Liquor bottles with broken seals found in a car's interior are not warmly received in either of the Carolinas! The worst would be assumed by local law enforcement.

PS: Don't ask how I know this!

Probably will start "primping" our Coupe Wednesday evening. Thinking about using Meguiar's ColorX All-in-One cleaner/polish/wax. I started the bi-annual exterior surface maintenance on my son's 1999 ZX2 yesterday. His car is black, and we had it re-painted last year. The ColorX product really brought out a deep gloss shine. Of course I preceded this with a simple hand wash of the area followed by an application of acrylic solvent to remove any old wax, road grime, etc. Then used the clay bar on the surface. Finished up with an application of ColorX. I hate to admit it but black does practically glisten when surface "primping" is finished.

If you look closely at Gary's Post #692, he states that everyone staying at the lodge this weekend will get the negotiated rate. And he implies that for some, that might have to be confirmed at check-in. So you may not get the quoted rate over the phone, but it will be corrected when you arrive. The main thing is to reserve a room if you're planning to participate.

Thanks for politely correcting my spelling. As much time as i have spent with that bottle, I never remember,................well, now that I think of it, I don't remember a lot of the time I spent with that bottle.
