Could have been earlier but a few folks that can't make the Dragon wanted to meet us before we leave.
Besides that it appears that we have grown to a "Party Size" group now so bedtime might be a bit later than expected...lol

 

alright then.....I will try to make it to you by 8, so my route down will change to I-74 rather than I-65...should be a 2 hr drive for me....see ya then, I have your phone number, will have my family radio as well...I have the cheap version, not that many channels....LOL

Need no GPS , Know Knoxville Area , My wife family is from there, So if Valk get us lost or the Gps dose ! I think i can get you there , That is if you can stay behind a NA , For a SRT6 that would be Hard to Do!

As some of you know I'm an hour away from leaving the hotel I'm at in LA now to head to the port for a one week cruise.
I have bought a limited amount of internet time while on the ship.
My time online will be limited though.
I'll be checking in here primarily over the next week.

I now wish I owned the road and could drive it every weekend the way the one in the first video did (but I like the music in the second better)....anyway, I've decided not to let my wife see either of these or she'd back out LOL. We're leaving Thursday after wook and stopping Thurs in Metropolis Il overnight. We'll pickup in the morning and if we get going early enough, we may end up seeing a number of you coming down from Florence around Maryville.

I haven't been around basically all winter, but I'm still coming as long as I can get a room... Looks like the 40 rooms are WAY gone. I hope the Lodge isn't too stingy with the discount.

 

Neverenough: Valk is somewhere floating around on a boat, so I will speak up. The lodge stopped giving out the discount when Pat/IamFink2 (called last week). There should be rooms available as it is a huge resort. You could post and see if any one who has a room "on their own" would share with you. That would be yours to work out. Pay half and buy them a beer or two While your at it buy me a beer or two as well
Only James noticed the cars we were driving. Good eye James. We were not bringing our car, instead riding with Frank and Lisa. Have since changed our minds; today got the insurance turned on. Will get tabs this week and take it out for a ride or two before leaving. It will be 3 classic yellow roadsters.

As long as there are rooms available. The $20 discount won't make or break me... I just put reservation request in online and their website indicated that there were plenty of rooms avail.

First picture stands out. Gary you don't look like your having fun there, you look gloomy, like your going to .........NO NO don't do it Valk! there is an easier way, don't jump over that rail you'll never make it.

Just got the weather report for the Dragon .... hope it changes. Says rain, with scattered rain, followed by heavy thunderstorms. 68 high/41 low. Everyone might want to make a little extra room for some rain gear!

 

Plenty of time for that to change. Although it rained the whole weekend last Spring, we still had a great time. And.....it didn't slow us down...too much!!!

 

We will just have to bring the nice weather with us! Will 75 & clear blue skies fit in the trunk of a roadster????
