For those who have not yet been at a Crossfire meet at the Dragon and for the others to see once again.

I thought there wasn't any cell coverage up there?!?

 

I think some folks have coverage at the Fontana Dam. Anyone??

 

Gary was referring to when I arrive in KT for our meet up Thursday night, but from what I understand, you are correct in saying there is little to no cell coverage once we are in Fontana

 

There is one spot (by the first pull-off, or picnic area) where you can get just enough signal to call. Other than that, you have to drive a ways into town for any signal at all.

Gary, I just made reservations for a friend and I this morning for Friday and Saturday (still got the discount).
After hearing about all the "free food" I figured I had better make a serious effort to get there.

Thank you so much everyone, and yes we are planning to drag a few cans behind the X-Fire, but only on Sat morning on the way to the dam in the morning. I wouldn't want one of those to fly off at 80mph and hit the X-fire behind me.
