Dan, Thanks, I've noted it on the Drivers' List!

Yup, I was 5 reservations short when I compared my list with the Lodge front desk, now I'm only four short, Anyone else?

See you there, 8 Weekends & counting!

Job situation is uncertain right now. Don't know who I will be employed with in April and if I will be able to have a long weekend yet. I want very badly to be there and have others to join with in a caravan from Illinois.
Hopefully FP will make it and then a hook up with Crossfirefrank and possibly Mixfire in Mich. as Frank posted earlier.
Will I still get a room (Fri & Sat) if I wait until the last day this month??
Or possibly as late as end of March ??

Gary,
I understand, No Prob, definitely open by the end of this Month, unless we have 100+ on the List then
(The 25% discount, will be off on 3/1, but I'll try & get it extended, based on availablity)

Good Chance you will be able to at the end of March, unless we sell it out, but then No discount that late, unless you use My Dragonslayer's Card for 25%, I think that weekend is open for that Card.

Another Idea, Most of the Lodge Rooms have two Queen Beds, so sharing is a good bet, & saves lots of Money. (Up to four in a Room, very small extra charge , if any.)

The Final Solution! I'll put you up in My Lodge Room, if I have to, or my House, if Necessary!

Just don't worry about it, I'll get you a Room anytime you can make it, FOR CERTAIN, I Promise!

Bill (SF)

Thanks Bill,
I wish I had more certainty in my near future but not the case right now. Financially no issues just the commitment to a new employer might be the issue. I have been and will continue to watch this thread daily for updates on lodging info etc.
I am open to the share room idea as well if anyone already booked is staying solo.
Thanks for you generosity as well and keep up the good work here.

Oh by the way I met the photographer "Killboy" from last years event.
He was at the Motorcycle show in Chicago at a booth set up with info about the Dragon.
I stopped by the booth to tell them I was with a car club that attended last fall.
He remembered the Crossfire group and said he took all the professional photos.
Are you using him again this year ? I told him of the spring meet but he was unaware of another event by our group.
Sort of ironic to cross paths with the actual guy at the cycle show at the Dragon booth.

Gary,
You are Welcome anytime.
I was going to try another instead of "Killboy" this Spring, but I may be going back with him, I haven't decided yet. There are some issues to be resolved, first.
Yup, what a surprise to see him there, but of course, Cycles are the Bread & Butter of the Dragon Photographers.
Later....
Bill

Hey Rodney,

Great News, you're # 50 on the Driver's List & Our First Black SRT6 Roadster, Congratulations!

We need the "local TN" Drivers to start signing up, we have more on the List right now from TX, etc., than we do from TN

See you at the Dragon on Sat 4/5!

Bill

I'm 90% sure I can make it, the only hold up would be having to go to a mandatory business meeting. I'm up for sharing a room with someone.

Silverfox,
If you had posted the event in the northeast forum and run the thread there you can announce the meet in the new category and provide the link to the thread. Regardless of which region it is posted in everyone who goes to the Crossfire Meets section will see the thread and be directed to the place in the forum where all the activity on that thread is taking place.
The thread should show in the title, town and state where the meet will be held.
I don't think anyone here only looks at threads in only a specific region all the time.I think most log in and browse all new posts since the last time they were online. The Dragon is unique as it is probably one of the only meets that do draw from such a large area of the country. I understand your passion to get the word out and make this the biggest event ever and I am behind you all the way. I don't mean to offend you in any way or tell you how to post threads in this forum.
If you want to post a thread in any other category I have no problem with that but please post a thread in the Crossfire Meets category and provide the link to the actual thread.
