Talking re: 1st annual Spring 2008 "Tail of the Dragon" MEET!

Great map Bill. Don't forget to include "R32's Downfall" in the fall map. Can't wait for the meet - hope the weather is as nice as last time.

Max - thanks for the capacitor install offer. Sounds like your Crossfire will need a sidecar to hold those Coronas.
Maybe I'll bring you a pack of smokes instead . . . Camel Lights still OK?

For those of you that are coming to the Dragon for the first time the best thing is that after a couple of runs you have this sh_t eating grin plastered to your face, and once you slow down enough to look at everyone else, you notice that they do to!!

BTW - here are some R32 specs - the base shouldn't be a problem for an SRT, but some of the tuned versions get insane.
http://www.motortrend.com/features/p...volkswagen_r32
Of course, on this road it's the driver and the handling that counts - too twisty to really use mongo HP.

Anybody who would love to drive a rollercoaster sign up now!
Tell your boss that you've received a supeona to testify to a crime you witnessed in Sheboygan, WI two years ago.

ALSO, One more time:
(Bob needs your PM & PayPal by the Wednesday before at the Latest & You can pick them up at the Dragon/Lodge)

All Dragon Drivers - Please,Get your Top Quality Namebadge from Bob (Click-on>>)(rje_nc); ASAP! They will be Very Important with well over 100 people attending the Meet (Including Spouses & GF/BF etc)!

(Hey, these are good for all Future Meets you go to with your Crossfire, Not just the Dragon Meets, if 10 or more Meets, less than $1. / meet! )

See Below for complete Details:

"I am posting this message with SilverFox's permission to offer the engraved Crossfire name badges to anyone planning to attend the meet next month. These badges are laser engraved and offered in a variety of colors to closely match the car colors offered. This is similar to the engraved badge Lyn and I had at the fall meet.

I have both Coupe and Roadster logos available. Each badge is 3" x 1.4" and I can provide either 2 or 3 lines of text below the dividing line. Many users add their forum name between their real name and location.

Each badge is $10. If you would like me to bring it to the Lodge, there would be no additional shipping. Shipping would be $2.50 if you want it mailed to you.

If interested, please PM me and I can provide any additional information and my PayPal address. Thanks for looking, I look forward to seeing everyone at the Lodge next month.

Bob
04 Graphite Coupe #5144 "

Hey - you might want to check out this link.
I don't suck, and if you are twice the driver that I am, you'll still learn something from reading this . . .
http://home.pon.net/hunnicutt/perfdriv.htm
Keep in mind that the Dragon tends to alternate between blind turns that cause you to unweight, and must be taken carefully, and non-blind turns that you can slam into with great enthusiasm.

Be safe, be there, have fun.

OK I hate to say this but 50 sounds good to me right now, I'm looking out my window at 3" of snow that fell last night and it's 20 degrees out. At this rate Gary may be right in that we might be driven done in the snow.

Frank, such a lousy thought "we might be driving down in snow" you couldn't even say it! Around here Saturday calls for sunny/40's and Wedensday no rain/sun; otherwise rain/overcast and cold. Yuck.

Gary & FP- I spoke with Ann today and she also wants the chirp so I picked up a buzzer for her also and will she be joining our Thursday evening buzzer install workshop. I'll have them all prewired and ready to go so it should only take a few minutes install for each crossfire.
