Ready to install my Xbox, how do I get the Crossfire threashold off
Re: Ready to install my Xbox, how do I get the Crossfire threashold off
MAYAman, where do you intend to install the actual XBOX?
I think I'm going to stick it out til the 360 comes out but I'm still not sure. I haven't seen the specs on the 360 yet but I'm hoping it fits either in the dash or the center console. I'm also planning on making it easily removable, I really don't want to shell out the cash for two of them.

The Xbox is going in the trunk and is being fastened with super strong velcro and I'm going to have Andrew make me a custom Crossfire emblem to replace the Xbox jewel since the Xbox is just a bix X. I've already run the video wires to the LCD brain and am just waiting for my tool from crutchfield to install the LCD.
I already check and there is no way you're gonna fit a 360 or Xbox up front anywhere. Plus these things need ventilation, you would fry it in a week.
The way I have it installed, I just lift it up and take it inside easy as pie. I will also be putting a 360 in it when it comes out. I have two pre ordered.

My bro is a manager at GameStop, so I'm on the top of the list for one discounted 360! I was thinking about cutting the bottom out of my center console and sticking it in there. I think there is enough room and adding a cooling fan would be no problem at all. I have a friend that knows how to work with fiberglass that said he could build a preformed "docking station" for the xbox. Then all I would have to do is bring the main unit outside and lock it into place. I would just need two sets of cables, one for the car and one for inside. I really want to take advantage of the bluetooth controls! I can't wait to get my 360.
